I’ve never been to Bumfuck Kentucky, or that place my dad was always going when I asked him, “Bumfuck Egypt”. I did spend a couple months in Ft Knox. Not a bad area. And it is spring. Turkey hunting time! Lots of big birds out that way!

Illegal shine, bourbon and turkeys are the only reason to visit Kentucky

Saw one of those yesterday. Ugliest treatment I’ve ever seen, and I think @LTDSC said those were like $120k or something crazy.

Raptor all day, but that bolt on shit makes me gag.

Clutch started slipping this week, and with only 60k miles .

Looking into upgrading the clutch this time around, anyone with a 2nd gen MT have any advice?

yeah, from what I've heard that is a pretty standard life for a clutch. Maybe I'm too hard on it :notsure:, hopefully the clutch kit I go with can hold up to me a bit better.

I have expos on my truck, and I’m not a huge fan of them, or the customer service I’ve gotten from them lately.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Stage 2 will grip better (stiffer springs) and tend to grab faster. For off roading, probably minimal difference except your leg muscles will grow from using your clutch. For rock crawling, people prefer softer clutches so they dont snap something when trying to "wake the crawl."

    How bad are you slipping?

I do not forsee myself going that way anytime soon, but you've got first dibs if you're still interested.

Dunno, got to get them taken off first, I think they've got about 10k miles on them ( 90% of that being on-road use :anonymous:)

Yeah, they did the job, but with more weight comes a need for heavier springs. Luckily I bought them before their CS went to shit.

I'll have a set of 2-year-old Dakar CS047Rs available in a couple of weeks. Although, if my new leafs solve my stop-start driveline thud, these will only be fit for the recycler.

Price really isn’t a object, she wants to buy new and buy once.

Not totally! If these springs are made of a softer spring steel then it's possible that they will give you axle rap. If it's axle rap then u joints will be marred or scorn as will the yoke in areas. My bet is that they are heat treated in portions and didn't get it the same through the whole spring, if this is the case then the spring needs only to be retreated and all will be good.
