It was posted by someone on another forum. Apparently, they attended the SEMA show.

THAT IS COMPLETELLY BADASS!!! Although, i'm not sure i would trade my v6 for the V8, thats not a huge power increase in relation to the increased fuel consumption. Don't get me wrong, it's noticably more power, but i dont think i want a V8. i would rather have a slightly jacked up V6. but the design and the size and the color scheme is awesome.

My best suggestion is to see if you can find one from a truck that is being parted out and then try to make the mod yourself. A Dremel, some body putty or bondo, some wire screen and T O Y O T A letters and you should be all set. Paint and install!

I would love to do this, but since it is only cosmetic - it is low on my priority list.

I had a Mustang Cobra that I put about $15,000 into over its time in my garage. It was a sleeper on the outside, but a monster under the hood. Also, I am currently in the middle of a CJ7 project, so the Taco is just there for driving and I doubt I will do a lot of mods, but this grill seems like a challange I think I might try it.

I hate to disagree with everyone on this website and I'm not trying to be rude but.. the only good thing I see about this truck is the V8. Probably one of the ugliest vehicles I have ever seen.

The color is terrible, no doubt. Also, I am not going to buy a Access Cab short bed....what is the point? The V8 is great and the styling is great. If I had photoshop I would change the color to a smoke grey and then I think you might like it better.

Your probably right but.. I also am not a big fan of the gold rims either. Lay some TRD offroad rims and smoke grey on it and roll. I like the V8 idea. My buddy just bought a new dakota with a V8 and I must say.. toyota should def. start mass producing them. I think that they would sell like hot cakes

oh and I forgot to mention. The 4.7 V8 in the dakotas are putting out a whopping 4 more horsepower then the 4.0 in the Tacomas. Dodge sure does have there stuff together when it comes to power!! haha I would love to hook chains with that dodge. I truelly beleive my tacoma would embarrass him!!
