New leafs, stock replacement

My girlfriends second gen needs new leafs, her stocks are shot. She has kings with resi all around, maybe about 1” lift would be perfect. She has a campershell, bed platform and we add addition 200/250 lbs when we go rock climbing or camping.

Any of you second gen guys got a suggestion. She doesn’t wheel much and wants to maintain a good ride. I was thinking a custom pack from Alcan might be the best option but not too sure.

 

@Wheeler's Off-Road Inc sells an hd pack IIRC it is a stock replacement

 

Dakar lights (95R) will give about 2” unloaded and 1.5” with that weight on the truck. Nice smooth ride when empty but much better load carrying ability than stock.

 

Have you had them replaced by Toyota yet thru the TSB ? You could get those if possible then add a 3 leaf progressive AAL to it .

 

I went to a local spring shop. I have a shell & a landscape business. I told them what I needed and they fixed the truck up right. They are very familiar with the $ucky stock Tacoma factory springs

 

Had Toyota look at they said it didn’t qualify, from what I could tell they should have. But I’d rather get something right the first time.

Yes this is for my girlfriends 2011, I have all-pro expos on my truck. She wants less lift and to maintain a better ride

 

Icon pack is nice if you can spend the money on it. They have the best fit and finish that I have seen. I have ran dakar light and the all pro standard. Icons just bolted in place no shoving axle forward or back.
