I towed my new rpod 176 home! Before that I installed the brake controller in the change cubby thanks to TW.

Nice setup. One of these days I'll pull the trigger and get one too! That and the Pro grille!

I just use a good old fashion hose, bucket with soapy water and rags, and tire scrub brush. I just make sure I make contact everywhere with the rags. We have crazy amounts of pollen so it'll look crappy again soon. I mostly washed it since I cleaned and detailed the interior.

    Sup Greg!?
I run the Suntek CXP and I believe the 30% is a perfect match and is legal here in Maryland.

    20170708_120944.jpg

That's a really good price too.

Yours will look better if you do the windshield. We get that bleed of light since windshield tint is illegal here. We can only do the strip.

I like the Suntek a lot. It's very clean and optically clear. Very nice tint. It's perfect on the Taco!

Went to the grand opening of 4Wheel Parts today and hung out with some of the Md members of TW. Great peeps, had a great time! Came home and knocked out some simple mods since it was over 70 degrees.

First up I finally fixed that damn passenger side mat that was shifting all the time.

    20180414_190949.jpg

That was easy enough and cost like 5 bucks.

Then, I proceeded to derp my door badges and remove the hideous silver pin stripes (silver, really, on inferno!?). So after I started the derping process I would work on a section of pin strip to allow for some drying time. Worked perfectly since the stripes were coming off a half an inch at time :frusty:

    20180414_163639.jpg

It was windy as hell so this didn't help at all. Luckily I bought the 3M Adhesive Remover just for this project. I had overspray on the back doors

All said and done it worked out and only took like 5 hours for everything o_O

    20180414_190936.jpg

I like the badges so much I am going to follow some others lead and remove and paint them properly so I don't have to worry about it coming off.

I still have to say though, the best part of the day was driving my Tacoma to a event and hanging out with other TW members.

    This forum is fantastic!

This will be the next simple mod that I do. Simple but with dramatic change to the appearance. I'll start with dipping then later I will remove, paint and reinstall as well.

Yea, next I'm replacing the bed side decals with something all blacked out too. It amazing how a simple, under 10 dollar change can make such a huge difference! You won't regret it.

Bought a RetraxPro MX for $1k!! Original owner had it on his truck for only 2 months and paid $1960. He had to take it off because his work tools wouldn't fit with it on. So stoked on the addition. Awesome quality.

    Ordered a Leer 100XR with:
    - Headliner
    - D/P sliding windoors
    - Roof tracks
    - Removable sliding front window
    - 12V magnetic switch light
    - Gear net

Painfully expensive out here in Hawaii, but I bit the bullet anyway.

I removed mine completely. Not sure if I'm going to add custom ones or not. I kinda like the look with no decal. I also removed the b-pillar vinyl.
