What's the verdict? I found that just greasing my driveshafts helped a lot in the clunkiness of the drivetrain :notsure:

mine was doing same. Clamp on back side isn't adjustable, wish it was. They seem to put too much pressure on the side when you tighten the front and it bows the top of the battery down, starts leaking. It will only get worse then you gotta replace it.
Better to change it before you get corrosion surrounding tray. Mine was starring to, so I cleaned and hit area with rustoleum. Bought a good napa battery. I still need to find or make a better battery clamp before new one does the same thing. I tried to just snug it down, not overtighten it.

I honestly didn't watch that or any other video regarding anti seize on spark plugs. I just stated that I never have used it in 40+ years. From my experience, I honestly can't see how it can be bad or good. When used and a spark plug is torqued correctly, I don't see how it could cause any issues whatsoever. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to much of the myth truthers or debunkers that post videos. I strictly go by experience.
If anyone uses it on their spark plugs, I honestly wouldn't give it a second thought.

Well the video says you can mess up the torque value using anti-seize on the shinny chrome looking plugs. Seems like a good reason to Not use it with modern day plugs/heads.

I don't believe it for one second. I used it as an equipment mechanic for years and never changed the torque values for anything to compensate for anti seize. Many of our applications involved a lot more vibration and heat than a car engine.

Installed my Archive Garage Hammer Hangers yesterday. Drive line vibes reduced, 1/2" gain with All Pro Expos and factory shackles, and lots of flex.

Applying ANY liquid (anti-seize, loc-tite, whatever) does, in fact, change torque settings. This is very well documented. Having said that, I don't use a torque wrench on spark plugs.

Both make sense, I guess I never checked how the battery was torqued down and it’s humid as hell here lol. I have a pelfreybilt battery cage sitting in the closet, guess it’s time to bite the bullet on an agm group 31 battery. Thanks :hattip:

Installed HID’s Friday night. I used the stock rubber boot from my old headlights to run the wires so I didn’t have to cut anything. 55 watt 5500k kit. Looks great and they’re super bright! The temp color matches my Morimoto XB LED fogs perfectly!

"fragile" wasn't exactly what I want to say.
Just stated that, after 6 months of use, I had to replace a few things that I only replaced on my 2008 after 3 years.
Front bumper has broken, fender inner panels are gone. ( all that plastic stuff looks like slighter, or maybe the clips...)
I had already to replace idler pulleys, brake pads and stabilizer bar links.

I've to admit the conditions here are very harsh, rough.
I use the truck 80 % off road. Dust or mud. Nothing else.
And, when going on paved roads, they are crappy.

That being said, I don't want another truck.
