That is super funny and sadly true. Flaggstaf is AZ only saving grace.

Lived in Socal most of my life and it will always be home but I'm glad I moved to Co. It's just way more affordable living here compared to there.

Yeah I love San Diego, it has so much to offer, it has bummed me out how crowded it has gotten, the population has almost trippled since I moved here in 98. I have family in Fort Collins and love going to see my cousin out there. For what I payed for my house I could probably have a rockgarden drive way as my gate keeper to 4x over in CO somewhere cool haha

EDIT on a side note sorry for not using multiquote, looks like page number 7491 is mine, almost :drevil:

never replaced it but I've pulled one. Pretty simple to do just a pain to wiggle it out of there.

Very easy. The hardest part is getting the grill off.

The new one should be bought along with the dryer as well. You might have $60 between the parts. You will need manifold gauges and a vacuum pump (harbor freight) to pull a vacuum on the system. Those tools will be around $100 if you use a coupon.

It takes about 2.5 cans of R134 refrigerant and a small amount of PPG oil. If you didn't change the pump, you won't have lost much oil.

R-134 and R12a are garbage compared to the stuff you should be able to handle. Then there's the new one cars are using that has too long of a name R1234yf

I wish we could still use R-22 :/

Don't you need a refrigerant recovering system to work on the A/C? Thought it was illegal to vent the refrigerant into the atmosphere.

R-22 like 1000$ a bottle now a days lol. And idk about cars but for ac units and big units yes u need to recover it. Small home units like your fridge you can vent. Idk why that is. Its really dump. Because i can go dump 10 1 pound units and do more harm then dumping 1 5 pound unit but yet its illegal to dump the 5 pound one but the 1 pound ones are ok.

You don't need a license to vent what isn't there. If he needs a condenser, the refrigerent is already gone.

I sold my old Lincoln welder after receiving like 100 messages after posting it on Facebook. Guy comes and tells me he'll pay full price, shows up, tells me 'I have a problem, my son is hungry and I only have $246' I'm like okay take the welder I just need the full $275, go ahead and give it to me when you can. I don't care it's only a $35 difference and I'm not going to let a sale go because of that. Then he's like 'Let me check my car' and magically pulls out another $20 from his pocket.

I know he was full of shit, but I've had enough people lowballing me and flaking on me to buy it. For $14 I'm not going to give a huge shit.

Last time I'm selling something on the Facebook Marketplace...

I’ll be honest with you the thing costs $300 brand new. I just wanted to get what I paid for it.
