    Mat,

Can we have a in-depth release notes to what you changed?

I can feel the tip in is smoother but to be honest, everything else feels exactly the same. Still holding on to 3rd for too long under light throttle (like getting up to the 30mph speed limit, no one needs 2200rpm constant at 30mph).

What’s your mod situation? I don’t feel this at all on my stock truck.

None, this is from 1.03 to 1.04. I didn't have any issues with 1.03 except the tip in and 3rd gear shift point so I guess half is fixed!

Think you will be a candidate for a custom tune.

I’m happy with the shift points. FWIW I’m about 600 pounds heavy with e rated bfgs.

Installed 1.04 91 this morning. I may be in the minority, but I think I liked the tip-in of 1.03 better. I liked the power when I touched the pedal. This is with C-rated BFG KO2s though, so definitely some extra weight compared to the stock tires that may be already dampening the throttle output. That being said, I took it for a test drive of about 50 miles, and it feels better at highway speeds than 1.03 felt. I also got myself up to 20mpg for the trip, which is the highest mpg I've seen in ages! That's with the BFGs and about a 3in lift (Bilstein 5100s and 885s). So if the loss in tip-in is the trade-off for the increased mpg and better highway speed management, I'll take it.

Email Mat your feedback and if you can datalog while driving. The particular issues you’re reporting may require you to work close with him to resolve it.

For people who want specific shifting points, it will be done by custom tuning basis once our log analyzer is complete

Has anyone in the Santa Barbara County area installed this tune?

Maybe I misread what 1.04 would contain, it does state 3-4 4-5 shift changes

Definitely smoother idle, shifting, and acceleration. However, with bigger tires I have (265/75) do not show signs of anything you Dislike about the tune. One size up in tire will fix stock and may alleviate everything you mentioned you don’t like...maybe?

I have floored it several times but have never hit the fuel cut-off. I recently did a rough zero to 60 with a phone and it was 6.3 secs. That’s with ECT, sliders, bumper, lift and slightly bigger tires. Could not believe it...felt like it though

    91 tune 1.04

You are probably right. I’m getting used to it now. Commuting speed seems better to me as well. I just need to realize that I need to start driving less for the thrill and start driving a little chill

However, it does seem like the tip in tuned for somewhere between 1.3C and the new 1.4 would be ideal

You sound unique with that config. I have half your weight with 265/75-16 and it feels great

    In progress.... And getting better!
50 or so miles on 1.04 and I really like it. Super smooth shifting, holds gears solid with no unnecessary up shifting. Definitely worth the money spent Thanks again Mat for all your hard work making this truck a joy to drive instead of a joke.
