I have a 3 inch lift (Spacers) running 265/70/17. No rubbing when checking with the steering wheel while not moving but when trying to drift on a dirt road. It seems like my front end just locks up. I have traction control off (i hold the TC Button until it says on the dash) but i don't think that would have anything to do with the front end. Any ideas?

Sounds like the traction control is still kicking it. On my 2013, I can’t completely turn off the traction control. Even when you hold it down for the 3-5 seconds. It turns it most of the way off, compared to just the quick push. It doesn’t let me get too wild, it still wants to correct me. I did the nanny system kill switch. Turns everything completely off.

Is it extremely hard to install that kill switch?

Better push the RSCA button when you're doing that.

Quit trying to drift on a dirt road and you will not have any issues. It is trying to prevent you from eating a tree or a ditch.

A long time ago vehicles didn’t have traction control. How did people survive?

    Lots didn't...

They were drifting on a dirt road and managed to eat a very large immovable oak tree at speed.

In 50 years everyone will be walking around in protection suits, wondering how we rebel cowboys could ever walk around in shorts and sandals.
