Just some food for thought. The exhaust pointed down and under the truck is slightly dangerous. Not sure what state you live in, but those with a safety inspection will require the exhaust to exit the side or rear of the vehicle. Another words the exhaust must extend beyond the shell of the vehicle. The reason for this is to prevent any exhaust gases including carbon monoxide from getting trapped beneath the vehicle and working its way into the cabin.

Yeah I know the risk. But Its far enough back that it shouldn't be a issue. I'm in WA state and it wont be a issue. Thanks for lookin out though.

Some pics of my New shoes. :) I love the ride now. I can actually enjoy driving it again. No more out of round unbalanced BFG's! Got sick of shops trying to fix it, and swapping out tires. So I descided to get rid of the wheels and tires both.

Went with 17" Method NV and Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/75/17 (34x11.5x17")
Had to do a little more trimming, But its worth it.

Here's the stickout... I'm also running 3/4" BORA spacers because otherwise I will hit my UCA at full lock..

Love your truck! How did you like your 295/75/16s? I have the same TRD Beadlocks and want to run that size (different tire) once I get my lift.

He had issues balancing them out so I'm guessing he wasn't a fan. I'm running them same exact tire size and was running them for a while on the TRD beadlocks and didn't have the same problem. Mine balanced fine on the TRD wheels and balanced fine on the SCS wheels I have now and I love the tire.

I was more curious about what he though of the size, I knew he had problems with the KO2s and I dont want them anyways. What did you think and how did they work on the wheels?

The size is great, a true 33+. They do require a little mor trimming but worked and looked great on the wheels.

Perfect thats what I wanted was a true 33 or a little bigger without going a lot wider. Did you have to run spacers on them?

Which UCA? I have some SPC LR on their way. Just noticed you have a build... I'll go check it out

I liked the size of a 295/75/16. Its much better (proportion wise) than a 285/75/16. Ive always thought the 285 wasn't quite tall enough. 295's look great, and require about the same amount of trimming as a 285 does.
My new 34's look amazing!! 285/75/17 for life now.. Its perfect inbetween size for those that don't want to deal with going up to a 35.

I'm running the JBA UCA's and I rubbed at full lock. Not sure if the SPC LR ones will have the same issue. You'll have to just try it out, But more than likely you'll rub with the 295's. 3/4" spacers on the TRD wheels was a great combo. they stuck out just right, not too much I think.

That they do! I was affraid that might be the case with having to run spacers. Good to know though. I really like the 285/75/17 size and large selections it comes in. Maybe if I find a buyer for them I'll go to 17s.

How much trimming did you have to do?

Really, If your offroad often, its about the same amount of trimming maybe a hair more with the 33" 285's. The only thing I did extra was smash down the pinch weld, after cutting the plastic liner out right by the cab mount area.

Perfect that's good to know it really doesn't take much more work. Sounds like primarily you need to have wheels with the correct offset.

I might have missed it in the thread - but what canopy did you go with and your thoughts on pros/cons of your canopy?

I got lucky and found my canopy on craigslist. I love having a canopy! Theres been a handful of times that I couldn't haul something because of it. Its a Snugtop "Extra Vision" I think. It leeks in a few spots but not bad.
