Pulled off my chrome pontoons. I’ve never much cared for running boards. Afterward, I put bolts back in the mounting holes to keep them fresh in case I need them later for rock sliders. Easy job, and the weekend weather was finally nice enough to make it happen. (I’ve only had the truck since January.)

Painted my @SouthernStyleOffRoad bumper today. 1 more coat and it will be ready for the winch and the light bar. Sorry for the crappy photos. I’m short and it’s on a couple of saw horses.

It looks like it’s tight with some rub areas too.

There‘s an optional exhast reroute photo thread here- its used for better clearance and possibly keeping your exhast system from getting hung up on a rock:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/exhaust-reroute.425356/

Interested in hearing what you do about the air/weight shift issue with the air bags- please let me know what you decide as I want to maybe put some in too. Thanks!

Designed and built this half bed drawer. Creates my own drawer slides since 5ft slides are $250+

Nice! Did you put plastic rub strips under the rails or?

You mean for the slides? I put rollers into the cabinet and an aluminum L rail on the drawer itself. The rollers are under and above the rails to keep the drawer from cantilevering when it is extended. I think the best thing to use for the rollers is skateboard bearings, they are a dime a dozen on eBay.

Enjoy!!! I had a Toyota pickup(91), a first gen Taco (00), a second gen tundra (04) then went full size four door Silverado (16). Went to trade in the Chevy and looked at Tundras but they are just TOO big. Always enjoyed the feel of the smaller truck, plus the off-road capability of the Taco is unrivaled. Since 3 car seats fit, we made it happen haha. But I still do like the Tundras. And I’m also certain I’m not the only one on here who ....”if I were a billionaire....I’d have a 40 car/truck warehouse”.

That second pic (maybe cause of the garage pic) totally gives me a “Back To The Future” vibe. Beautiful truck. EVERYONE, loves that truck. Even Prius driving vegans with save the Earth picket signs in the back love that truck.
