Have you identified where the rub is occurring? It could be where mine is happening since we have the same size tire and what appears to be the same amount of poke.

Mine is here right on that little piece of plastic fender trim.


This is very common. @Rob Daman has a great video on YouTube about how to remove this, as well as massaging the front of the fender liner with a heat gun, which is another common area where the tire rubs.

If it's the cab mount, which I doubt, that's a little more involved.

Identify the area and post back so we can help better.

 

Did you paint it while it was on or did you take it off to do it?

That a single aal or a progressive?

 

The rub is likely coming from your mud flaps. That size tire should not rub.

Installed this fake beauty today! Chinese copy, brought off Amazon.

 

Good idea, I wast planning to but I might now.
I also got the black out vinyl kit someone on here was selling and TRD center caps to install soon.

 

Just finished installing the rear add a leafs and shocks.

 

got it all finished up today

 

VR-10S installed. Mounted control on center brace using rivets allowing me to use the factory screws to secure the cover.
Fabbed up a terminal disconnect using some marine products to make disconnect and maintenance easier. Came out great!

 

More progress on my custom fabricated sliders. I made the frame plates and mocked-up for cutting the stand-offs. I should tack-weld everything and then burn-in the final welding next weekend. Then final clean-up and paint.

 

Nothing to tacoma lately. Started spring clean up of tree debris on property from winter storms. Sometimes take for granted my great property views. This is my back yard..

 

Any photos? I'd like to see the blacked out wheels and badges. Thinking about doing it to my MHM.

Pulled off my chrome pontoons. I’ve never much cared for running boards. Afterward, I put bolts back in the mounting holes to keep them fresh in case I need them later for rock sliders. Easy job, and the weekend weather was finally nice enough to make it happen. (I’ve only had the truck since January.)

 

Painted my @SouthernStyleOffRoad bumper today. 1 more coat and it will be ready for the winch and the light bar. Sorry for the crappy photos. I’m short and it’s on a couple of saw horses.

 

It looks like it’s tight with some rub areas too.

It is the oem mud flaps. I rub on mine too.
