Honestly I'm not certain yet as it's due to arrive this Sunday. I'm a total noob to owning a truck this is my very first.
Well, I’ve spent a few $k on upgrades already.
How much is a locker set up ?

Easiest way is through ecgs and rehear while you're at it. They'll send you a 3rd with everything already installed for about $1600

And a locker set up turns both rears vs limited slip ? Sounds like positraction. Lol.

When you turn the locker on it will turn both rear tires (2wd) at the same exact rate allowing for better crawling/getting up hills/rocks/sand/more controlled slides etc

Then if you were to go with an arb air locker for example, you turn it off and on so on road your tires don't wear down quickly etc. Its the best of both worlds

Yea no problem. The costs are terrible, try regearing the front and rear with 4x4... DOUBLE the cost. Then you gotta pick up a compressor to run the air locker. Or remote air setup. And run all the wiring, pressure fittings (included with locker) and solenoids. But thats what TW if for.... when you dont know what your doing like me when I first re-geared with locker etc:rofl:

That's why I'm not in any rush to regear mine again. Too damn expensive, shoulda put a front locker in the first time. Though if I get a dd...37's may be my next tire size and I'll need to bump up the gearing for sure.

Yeah we do. I wanted to try to get out to coral pink sand dunes for cinco de mayo, but none of my friends can make it. I was trying to decide is I can afford it or not before committing and trying to see if the TW community wanted to make a trip out of it

Was taking the family to dinner at Oregano's but didn't realize they were closed for renovations.
