I am on 33s and am on 4.10s. So my calculations are off..but just means im getting better than I calculate anyways.

You'll never get that high again with 4.88s.

Those are my favorite types of mechanics, typically they are the better ones too.

Been really wanting to do a trip in my truck and someone turned me onto the Kentucky Adventure Tour Trail. Gonna take a look at it some more and hopefully try to find time this summer or fall to take a week and do the trail. Here is the link to the GPS file if anyone is curious: http://annessky.net/kat/

Yeah, I took 900. Probably a couple hundred worth keeping. Amazing how awesome DV was. No @mrs.turbodb this time either - was a solo trip.

I settled down for sure haha, opened the fill plug and put it back when there was just barely a trickle coming out of it. They put way too much in there. Glad you had a good trip! Haven't checked the weather but looks like I am headed to rain in Seattle tomorrow lol Thanks for the info though, good to know. And no more oil pumpin out

Well I must be the only guy with the deck mod that can tell the difference. It's not a huge improvement, but it does help. And I replace my air filter every other oil anyway.

Mine aint ready either lol. I still want the things done I mentioned earlier, hopefully this summer :spending: It looks like a good system with roughly 60% being unpaved and from google street view the paved sections are hardly maintained roads lol

I guess the plus side is you can always plug it, the PO didn't have it when I bought it so I can't plug it, still looking for a plug that actually works on mine.

Probably not getting the truck to start tonight :( I was putting the fuel line back on the rail and lost one of the crush washers and the store is closed now. On the bright side there isn't much more to do.

I agree, I was down in Brown County in the fall with a buddy and we were doing back road cruising in our Mustangs and found some really good roads like that, I know there are some trails down there but it's like you have to know some locals to get on them lol.

Supercharger is still pissing me off. Not sure what it's supposed to respond like seeing as I've never driven in anyone else's supercharged truck, but the low end doesn't seem like it picked too much compared to the top end. From idle-3.75k it seems marginal over stock. From 3.75-red line it's a whole different beast. Starts screaming, ass end sits down and the front lifts up. It's like hitting boost with a turbo.

You can try pulling the restrictor out of the bypass valve hose. Supposed to really help the thing kick in fast.

Restrictor out of the bypass valve hose. I know what the bypass valve and the hose are. Where is this restrictor you speak of?

Well considering the power band of the 5vz..thats whats supposed to happen.

Id say on mine though anything about 2k it pulls good. But im regeared very low. So not a good comparison.
