So, apparently at some point in the show Eugene became a master of disguise/camouflage (in under 2 minutes) and Daryl forgot how to track!!??!!

Might sit thru the encore, I missed a few things.
Didn't really want to see Simon go, I really enjoy his character.

 

While I shared the same exact though initially I got to thinking about this scene. Up until Eugene switched sides, he was a babbling idiot with really awesome luck and manipulation tactics. So Daryl assuming that Eugene is an idiot and assuming he would be the guy that just runs off rather than covering his tracks, makes sense to me. I think the saviors have allowed Eugene to find who he is as a person.. and because of that he’s getting more ballsy

This would have been a good scene on its own but the fact they told us earlier in detail what Eugene was eating makes it a true classic. Boxed mac&cheese sardines and garlic. Thats gold.

 

Somebody please take Eugene out. I'm so sick of his character. I speculate that Oceanside gets involved in the final melee.

 

I wonder if the lady in the van that struck a deal with hilltop is with the helicopter people. I wonder if first contact is the van and after they strike a deal they chopper in supplies for trade?

I think Eugene is going to bite one of his bullets.

 

I think the FTWD Morgan is the Morgan after he is trained in Akido by the 'cheese maker'. There is no back story explained on timeline of events in TWD. i.e. When this takes place or how much time transpired from 'Clear' to rejoining Rick or where he went after.
The 2 shows timelines appear to be a few years apart, if this is the case Morgan may have spent a year or more with the people from FTWD. Just my theory.

 

I thought about the same until I saw the clip with Morgan saying " there was a big war back east , I lost a lot of people" or something to that effect

 

I read an article earlier today his week that confirmed that FTWD was indeed going to make a big jump in time.

 

They made a statement that said “if you’re not caught up it’s okay cause it’s a whole new storyline.” Basically saying they were making a big jump in time and shits way different than previous seasons

 

I still got my money on Poindexter to switch sides and be a hero. I got him penciled in as the new leader of the Saviors unless he dies. I think Rick will have a chance to kill Negan but won't because of Carl's letter. I think the best chances to die are Eugene,Tara,Gabriel and Negan. At the very least i hope they destroy that fucking bat.

 

Well it will be a time jump of at least two years on FTWD to meet up with Morgan, if my estimated math is correct.
