You can likely add @Squeaky Penguin to this chain of people who are replacing them prematurely, he has an estimated 30K and has play as well

Lower ball joint purchase..jpg Dam I thought my ball joints were 2 year ago. By my oil change records January of last year would put them at around 9k miles. There's at least an 1/8" of movement in the joint.

Swapped out my rear axle shafts to 4340 chromoly to replace a bent passenger side shaft and some jacked up seals.

What did the new shafts cost you? Did they come with wheel bearings and seals?

Yep. Saw a Tundra on the side of the Highway 99 coming home from a trip last year. Same side. Long gouge in the asphalt leading up the the truck. Gotta be a little unnerving to have that happen at freeway speeds.

After reading all the posts about OEM LBJs going bad so soon, I got nervous about mine and I started digging to see when I replaced mine. It was 2 years ago and about 15k miles, used OEM from Camelback. Hoping to get some free time this week to check mine out. Hoping they're good cause I definitely don't have the extra money to replace them again yet.

Will be receiving my lowrange elocker harness and switch. Kinda excited but I'm gonna restrain myself from jumping through the roof.
