    Would anyone want these 3in lift hats before i throw them in the scrap? The shocks are shot but the lift hats are a just over a year old.

    Spring over axle or Spring under axle? I have the ability to choose but I'm not sure which to choose. Height won't make a difference as I can easily make them the same height.

    Got a lot of stuff lol
    With my current springs and spring under I'm level. With 6 lug springs and spring over I'm level. 5 lugs have more arch to compensate.

    So with being level either way which do you guys prefer?

    My first inclination would be spring over, but you do make a good point. On the other hand, he'll get less up-travel with spring over, so if he's eating his fenders when stuffed, it might be better to go with spring over.

    It took me a long time to get to the point of understanding lol the rear is pretty easy it's the front that's the real problem.

    True dat, but I think the theories still apply. After all, last time I checked (admittedly over 20 years ago when I had my YJ) Heeps are 5 luggers. :D

    Edit: And you were absolutely right. When I went to spring over on my YJ, I had axle wrap so bad in the rear it was literally locking the u-joint yokes together and twisting the driveshaft in half like a wet tissue. Of course, I was running 16x35 Boggers so I was getting ridiculous grip.
