The silver lining to this is I didn't renew my tickets for next season. I struggled with the decision for a bit thinking "watch this be the year" and now I'm happy I'm not forking over that much money. We'll see how the rest of the series goes though!

Also I guess I can spend my ticket money on some wheels/tires. I'm at 40k on stockers thats enough use I guess!

Yeah that 15% is nice. I'd like to see your setup too next time you are in the area.

I wanted my stockers to wear out so bad, but the rugged fails ended up giving me 70k miles of mainly highway driving.

Both of you are way more dedicated than I am! I'm at less than 5K on my stockers and will likely be swapping them out within the next month. Apparently I have no self control or patience... :)

Honestly though, if you're going to do it, might as well do it now. That way you can flip the stock tires for more $ towards the new shoes!

I've become completely detached from DC area sports. I used to ride emotional roller coasters with the local teams, feeling the pain of all the losses and failures, getting the occasional spike from a win. Had season tix for many many years for the Skins and Caps.

No longer. Just. Not. Worth. It.

Ah ok solid...I would have been totally confused on why you bought it new if that wasn't the case with getting an older wheeler.
