No it doesn't. It just protects from the elements so you can leave it plugged in all the time.

Guys, I have never seen this product in person before, so I clearly know more about it than you guys. It doesn't hold it in.

 

I have them on the outside of my house. Will take a picture for you when I go home for lunch.

Well that's clearly a different holder, so that doesn't count. That doesn't look weatherproof at all.

Its a work of art my man. Labeled, neat, clean, orderly.

 

Just open everything up like I did! Also that's the wire for my sub panel. I didn't want to fish individual circuits to the basement from the second floor. This is one wire to the basement and done.
