was watching the tube while you were gone... pick out a bumper yet? I’m thinking an install video is in order... I’d drive up and lend a hand. It didn’t cross my mind when I installed my ARB.

Still bumper hunting, but an extra set of hands is always appreciated. I'll do the camera work while you lift the bumper into place. :D

Might be worth doing a video on the deciding factor you are currently going through so folks might understand your selection in a video if it doesn't tarnish relationships with the other manufacturers that you have eliminated from your bumper prospects?

Lol seriously though, I was thinking about doing exactly that because I'm torn on a bunch of the options and thought it would be fun to sort of walk through my thoughts on the selection process.

Coot, you got a bumper, Ive got a bumper... boogie if you want to do some comparisons on camera too - that might be cool... I’d be more than willing to put my truck on screen. But if you want to keep your subscribers, I’d keep my face off camera haha.

Ha I wondered if you might have already considered it. I think it would be a good view to have a sort of conservative view of what you are looking for and how X and Y didn't fit the bill for what you want.

It could help also bring to light more validation for your thought process by seeing the struggle on the technical side of your mods.

I could be down to help give some insight for a comparison vid although my bumper is custom and is not from the normal group of bumper makers. That said, my bumper has some seen tough love compared to most that isn't exactly a good thing.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped keep my thread alive during my time in solitary. The comments, links to the vids I was doing, and of course the endless shovel pics helped the time pass quickly. You guys are awesome.:cheers::hattip:

Love it! Super clean. Now did you install that beefy ARB bumper by yourself? That's the heaviest bumper option by far if I'm not mistaken. Where was that pic taken? Looks like a fun playground ...

Thanks man, I’ve enjoyed building it - I try and show her off when I can, but ever since I picked up a beater for my daily commute she only sees action for truck stuff...

I was lucky, I had my dad and another buddy help me out. It definitely took 3 people to get it perfectly straight and bolted down. Had to upgrade to 700lb springs too. That’s an area behind my neighborhood where they’re eventually building a new access road. I had to go play around and test out the suspension after I put it on.

Haha no doubt! When I lived in Leesburg, there wasn’t very many places to go just for a quick offroad adventure. Out here in almost heaven, they don’t care so much about my shenanigans.
