    Morning everyone :pccoffee:

Coopers are pretty popular on our trucks and seem to do well on and offroad.

    Dislike.:pout:

No joke! Another reason I’m not rushing to get another bike.

Right there with you on the horn!

    This.

When did everyone become so selfish? The 281 to 410 west interchange north of the quarry ALWAYS gets my blood pressure up. No one can merge, no one will zipper properly, and there’s always at least one person flying down the extra wide shoulder because, let’s face it, they’re just better than the rest of us and don’t have to abide by the rules.

    :annoyed:

Alright, I’m off my soapbox lol. Let’s all have a good week and short one!

That was one of the first things that stood out to me when I moved here was that no matter how awful the offense, people will not use their horn. It's like they believe it's an affront to their "southern hospitality." It's there for a damn reason. Use it people!

Epic. Love being out there. The quiet and serenity is unbelievable - especially when you're alone. Weather was great. Friday evening there were strong winds and visibility was poor due to dust. But by 3am it was calm and the dust had settled. Made for some great star viewing. Didn't see anyone else on Old Ore Rd, except for a handful of bicyclists. On Black Gap Rd. I came across a guy in a Jeep that was trying to limp his way out after having busted both his drive shaft and driver front shock. Haven't had much time to go through pictures yet but I'll post some up when I do.

Still need to make it out there one day, the wife’s family has land in Sanderson as we have talked about going there but got to take a few days off as it’s a good drive to get there.

Do eet! ~6 hours to Persimmon Gap for me. Maybe a similar trip for you on 90. Next time I want to take that road. Likely a much more laid back and scenic drive compared to I10.

Also, for any one else with plans to head out there, be aware that Persimmon Gap station no longer assigns backcountry permits. You have to go to Panther Junction. Apparently there were "privacy concerns" and they've changed policy. Looking at the forms they're using now they seem to have taken a step back tech wise. The ranger said as much when I asked about it. Sucked since I was camping on Old Ore, it meant I had to drive all the way to Panther Junction then all the way back up to Dagger Flats Rd. then down again on Old Ore. Set me back an hour or so.

If I ever make the drive that way I will make sure I capture some of this information before we go. If we do Sanderson it will be somewhat a working weekend as the cabin is in need of repairs. I know the drive into the property is approx 15 south of hwy 90.

I'm loving the bumper. I feel so tough now. I've since swapped the wheels too.

Who's gonna have the winning post?
