I'm way behind on my updates. Some of these have been removed already but figure someone may benefit.

Gonna try and make up for lost time. Here goes.

Wanted a way to mount shovel/axe out of way in the shell.
First attempt w/ square tubing: fail
Too much force on lip of shell forcing it to break the seal.
    IMG_0512.jpg

    2nd attempt: success
Chunk of aluminum channel I got from work.
Cut down one side w/ table saw.
Allowed the top lip to hang on the shell ledge.

    Sorry for crappy photos.

A-trac switch switch relocate. One of my favorites.
Lost photos of the wiring...fucking iPhone.

    Acquire OEM FJ A-Trac switch

Step 1) remove OEM foglight switch to create blank for new switch. I simply jumped the wires the switch connected and tucked them back in the dash.
Step 2) Swap light bulbs from Taco switch (Taco/green vs FJ/Orange)
Step 3) create wire harness (4 wires)
Step 4) remove Taco A-trac switch
Step 5) cut off taco A-trac plug (do this, I attempted to splice into the wiring and it only caused issues)
Step 6) solder new wiring harness into Taco harness (these are the photos I lost, I have a diagram of what connects to what somewhere)
Step 7) run new harness, connect plug
Step 8) enjoy all you driveline options in one location.

I foresee myself relocating a few of my switches down to the center console for things I need to get to more quickly than reaching to the overhead. Great inspiration.

One last question, was the track very flexible? My shell has a curve in it with the high point in the middle of the shell front to back and side to side.

Been using a tablet to run maps.me for navigation a lot recently. Needed a way to secure the tablet, yet keep it accessible and visible.
Can't take all the credit for this one, @RavageRule suggested using the suction cup.

$2 suction cup from Harbor Frieght (rated @ 80lb)
Misc Ram Mount components I already had.

Holds tight even on bumpy roads.
