Most systems are just catbacks and can be installed in about 30 mins and you shouldn't even need a jack. Maybe a ratchet some sockets and a flathead to move it around.

I went to a shop for my magnaflow. They let me in the bay to watch them put it on.
I only paid $35 (shop owner knows me), but it only took him 20 minutes, and that included taking the old exhaust off.

The stock exhaust is a one-piece, and once you unbolt it in the front you can pry it from the rubbers keeping it hanging under the truck.
My new exhaust came as a 3 piece. Once they bolted the front part back they hung the back pipe, and used two hose clamps (came with it) to hook both pipes to the what-ever-ya-call-it in the middle. Piece of cake if you have enough clearance to work under your truck.

Do it yourself. Installing a cat-back is super easy, a few bolts to remove, some penetrating lube to get the old one off, then just bolt the new cat-back together onto the truck. They usually come in 3 pieces: tube from cat to muffler, the muffler, then the rear portion that goes over the axle and dumps out the side of the truck.
