I guessing that will be better than the BLT I just had.

You mean enkeis? Last I remember those are only around 2k a set. I'm talking like 2-3k per wheel for HREs.

When I was into the super sedans (RS6/RS4/E55 AMG/M5), there would be get togethers to run some of the canyons out east of San Diego/Ramona/Vista areas, we would end up at HRE in Vista,CA. There would be always a tour and then a Veyron parked in front or a Zonda.

they would offer 10% off if you purchased that day....

I couldn't ever afford HREs but a Sportec Mono 10 or the OEM RS4 19" rims were in the short future...

How was it? I didn't like how my sous vide brisket turned out. I cold smoked it for the smokey flavor, then sous vided it for i think 8? hours and then finished it off in the oven for the bark. It was super tender, but a little dry if that makes any sense. Now I just do the brisket on the smoker for a full 12-14 hours depending on weight. Other cuts of meat are great with sous vide though.

It was just barely on the dry side. I think next time I'll try more like 48 hours at about 5 degrees cooler, then smoke it.

Yeah I think I put mine in the sous vide at too high of a temp. I fired up the charcoal grill today and flank steak with chimmichurri sauce. One of my favorite go-tos. No pics, ate it too fast :D

Has anyone ever had the dealer change a CV for them? While at Lexus of Bellevue getting my wife's 25k service done on Sunday I asked the adviser what it would cost to have them replace the diff seals I lazily neglected to install when I did my CVs a couple weeks ago.

The quote was $1100ish dollars for a job that was quote as 5.5 hours. I thought the adviser (a guy I'd probably call a friend by now) was joking and kind of chuckled. He wasn't joking.

Unfortunately I don't make $550/hr so I'll go ahead and take care of those myself lol...

Are they just old and leaking or did you damage them taking the CV out?

I’m trying but I don’t think I’ve got the time off this year :/ hitting fordyce and maybe the rubicon in August and Moab in October.. with this new job I haven’t built up a ton of PTO yet.. if I can’t this year it’ll definitely happen next summer.
