I think if you look around you can find anything cheaper than the dealer wants for it. LOL

I am no expert but maybe @snickers can chime in on something like this.

Forgot to take more pictures, but had my 700# springs installed on Friday afternoon thanks to @JerryTaco and @SDHQ OFFROAD for the super quick turnaround. Such a huge improvement over the 650#s! I think the whole process took about 1.5 hours from start to finish including the drive to and from SDHQ where they swapped the springs.

Then by Saturday it looked like this!

Installed a set of GGLighting Sidewinder pods on Rago Fab brackets. I initially bought the the brand new GG brackets, sight unseen, that aren't even on the website yet but discovered I'd need to remove the cowl (can do) and then modify the cowl (won't do) to facilitate proper installation. Wasted $100. Might try for a return to GG w/store credit, but hate to pay shipping and restocking fee. Shoulda read the posts here about pod brackets first :annoyed:

    A few minor things...
Mine just arrived. When the rain stops this week I'm going to put them on.

Do you notice a huge difference?

I see you're in the PNW too. Do you recommend a shop?

I'm quite a ways from Portland. I just googled window tint in my area and went with the highest rated. You may want to just scan the Oregon tint laws to make sure you're within your limit. Ours is 24 percent. I did 20 and didn't research until after, kind of wished they would have told me prior to. I can't imagine it'll be a problem, but if it is I'll comply.

You shouldn't have any rubbing with that size tire. Possibly your new wheels are different back spacing or off-set? One thing to check out is whether your caster angle is high enough on your alignment. If it is less than 2.75-3.0 it can cause an issue with rubbing. I had no problems with rubbing when I had 265/70/17 tires but when I went to 275/70/17 I needed to increase my caster to 3.0 to avoid rubbing at full lock.

Thanks mate - just did some googling and I'll talk to a few shops this week. Oregon doesn't allow windshield tinting, which sucks.

They should allow a strip, normally like 6" from the top down which is better than nothing.

I went with 503 motoring in Beaverton on my last 2 vehicles. They are not the cheapest, but they do a good job. They also did the xpel clear bra on my front end and kicker panels. I'm very happy with their work.

Yea, I am going back to my guy and having one added. Not sure why I didn't do it at the time but it's no big deal to go back. I normally leave my visors forward but I am getting tired of that since the seat sits higher on the Taco and it's harder to see the traffic lights now.

Since I have always been an outlaw I will likely go a little more than allowed. Or at least to below the rearview mirror mounting area. And I will definitely go as dark as possible.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Pffft. Sometimes I'll change lanes without using my turn signal... (so long as no one else is around).

Yea, I've been known to run with scissors from time to time, and I definitely get in the pool less than 30 minutes after eating :anonymous:

Well, my car is completely illegal. The side and rear window tint is darker than allowed and the entire windshield is tinted.
I am really taking a chance with it because it was super expensive. Luckily all 4 windows have the auto up/down feature so if/when the time comes I am opening them all up. LOL

In my life though, I have definitely not been a stranger to the law. I mean, I've never killed anyone, on purpose, but......... LOL, JK JK.

Window tint must be a Southern thing.
Don't see it up North much.
They really enforce that law in particular here in Ohio.

I’ve got it in Kentucky. 5% all the way around which is way past the legal limit down here. Cops don’t ever ticket you or pull you over for it though. Guess that’s a good thing lol
