    Hello all,

Just got back from the stealership today after getting my 65k mile service done and getting two other issues looked at.

Ticking/Chirping noise equaled a faulty blower motor, they replaed under extended warrenty after a $50 deductable.

"Dieseling" noise when clutch (I4, 5 speed manual) is not depressed equaled faulty Clutch Release Bearing. Not covered under warrenty? About $800-$1000 to replace, depending on aftermarket vs. Toyota parts.

My main question to TW is what am I looking at when NOT replacing the Clutch Release Bearing "package" immediately? Stealership was not very clear on any issues that may arise from prolonging the repairs. Quote--"When it gets louder, bring it in to replace " End Quote. Thanks, guy.

Overall, service was great. Just a bit bummed about the Clutch Release Bearing, as the truck only has 65k miles on it. It is an '07 PreRunner, but I bought it Sept. '09 with 56k miles on it. I feel it may be a bit early for these clutch/transmission problems?

Thank you all for your help!

If its out of warranty, why not take it to a independent shop that specializes in Toyota and see what they say? They call them stealerships for a reason.

Thanks ZDog. It's definitely an option that I am considering.
