    I used an OBDII reader I bought from Amazon about $30 and the Torque Pro app for Android to get the ecu version

    Looks like a Gen2.5 TRD Sport, but really an '08 TRD OffRoad
    TRD Supercharged / OTT Tuned
    If you have the following ECU file(s) from the TRD flash on your supercharged Tacoma, then you should be good to go. Buy the OVTune product and fiddle with the ECU that is already in your truck.

    Tacoma ECU Tuning for 4.0L (as stated on the 1st page)

    TRD SC Versions:
    3YWG2600
    3YWG3500
    3YWG3800
    3YWG3900
    3YWG4000
    3YWG4100
    3YWG4400


    But if you think that OVTune has a stack of ECUs on his bench for sale and just flashing them with his "upgraded tune" or soldering new "chips" onto those ECUs..... then you may want to re-read the product that OVTune is selling.

    The stack of ECUs on his bench is for his software development use only. Doubt they are available for purchase.

    They are definitely not for sale because one of them is mine haha. I dont know the details but he needs some ECUs in person in order to develop tunes for those ECUs.

    Yes. I got it since posting. I'm lousy at computers. I tried uninstalling them reinstalling. Still, no luck. My tuner won't upload my tune. Arg
