I bought a lot, just in case. Let me know when you're going to do the mod. I will probably have a bunch left over.

Felt like someone hit the house. Normally, you'll feel a little roller and then it's done. This was less a roller and more like a sudden jolt.

Yeah shakers are not cool. Had a few hundred when I stayed up in canyon dam. They kinda scared the crap out if me the first few. Now I don't stay there if I can help it. I remember one while I was drinking coffee and it hit and splashed coffee down the front of me. Not cool!

Popped the hood to take a look. The pulley thingy spins, slows down, then speeds up. Repeat. Belts to tight? Is that possible?

Yeah that’s the a/c compressor clutch engaging and disengaging. Good sign. It won’t kick on if the fluid gets too low.

Look around at the A/c hoses and fittings. The a/c system has some oil in it and will usually show up if there’s even a slow leak. Also if there’s dye you’d see that too, it’s typically yellow.

Common place is the condenser fittings.

    Good luck!

I was strolling along with the dog this morning, headed eastbound (and down). Turned around to see the mother of all rain clouds closing in. Quickly jogged home, JUST beating the hail.

    Up the road in Oakland...
