Yeah, I wasn't too impressed with the community on there too many pissing contests.

 

Yeah I know. It's like that on some of these threads. I don't say much just read and get the info I'm looking for. Glad to see this thread some people close to home. I've seen looking at the SC group but most of them seem to be in the lower part of the state.

 

SOS Concepts/@EddyRRT isn't too far as well as others. Look at Jimbo's sig there is notes about the monthly meet in Charlotte as well as the FB group. This is a good group of guys here and in SC. I have a couple of 3rd gen parts if anyone is interested. A chrome grill off a TRD off road and a set of all weather mats. All in like new condition $60.00 for the mats and $60.00 for the grill if bought together.

 

Great looking wheels I'm trying to get a set now except in matte dark bronze.

Hey guys. Just bought me a camper shell. Should I vinyl wrap it black or white? Looking for some info, Im leaning towards black but Im not 100%
side note thats not my truck pictured, I have a 2015 white access cab.
the camper shell is currently silver streak color

 

I am partial to the two tone look I say go black!

 

your truck was my main pull to black, plus i loved how it looked on @EatSleepTacos truck.

 

It did look good on Randy's truck also but all white also looks good too. That looks like a really nice shell. What brand is it?

 

Thanks man. Its an ARE Z series. Looking forward to picking it up saturday. Gonna bring it back to NC and do some work on it and wrap it before I do my final install on it.

Lol you have no idea how sweet of a deal I got. Gotta replace one window but I have a local glass guy thats gonna replace it for me. Other than that its pristine.

 

Oh man so jealous right now I really want a z-series. You can go to the local ARE dealer and order the window then put it in yourself it is really simple. Just bolts in from the inside and get the seal as well.

 

yea I would have but they wanted to charge me around $500 for a replacement window. So I shot that down lol. This topper would look good on your truck!!

 

Damn that is almost the cost of a new one. @Blackout14 pointed me in the direction of the ARE dealer up in PA where he got his as that dealer is a good 600 bucks cheaper than the one near me. Most of the windows these cap manufacturers use are pretty std. I bet you could find one with enough google time. I don't think I'll go back to a silver cap, my old one was silver and I like the contrast of the black better. I felt like with having a DCLB then the silver cap it was just too much silver. Now some colors look so much better with a matching cap vs the 2 tone look. You having a white truck lends itself to 2 tone looking really good as well.

Currently my truck is naked without the cap and all my gear I carry in the bed so it looks weird. My cap is getting reworked while it is off. Taking out my side windows resealing them, resealing the roof tracks and putting some on the inside (@Subway4X4 idea), carpet the inside, ordering a folding front sliding window, and toying with the idea of vinyl wrapping it in either a matte or satin black. I am also going to order the KBVoodoo bed side caps for when it goes back on.
