true, I suppose it's cheaper than burning my house down too. I just realized that I should be fine without getting a 200 amp panel since my dryer is hooked up to gas instead of 220

Convert your range to a gas range, and that will free up even more power, at that point you wouldn't even need a sub panel for the garage (assuming it is not a detached garage)

I should pull the range out and see if there's a gas hookup behind it :fingerscrossed:

I think I would still want the subpanel for convenience, no?

Where is the panel currently in relation to the garage?

Yup, it's going to be close to $2k just to run power from the top of the pole down to a meter, and install a meter and an outlet or two since they have to pull a permit for it.

    Any input on my situation:

Dwindling gas mileage, sub 200 per tank now...when I usually got between 230 - 260 per tank with all the weight on my pig. Recently drove out to San Diego from Colorado and about 3/4 of the way there I had check engine light and VSC light come on. During the week I was there I did a lot of work on the truck, replaced lca's, rebuilt uca's, had my shocks rebuilt, replaced stock cab mount bushings with Energy suspension bushings. After getting the truck back together and aligned, I made sure to pull ABS 1 & 2 fuses before driving it over to alignment shop so I could avoid doing the zero point calibration, and when I got to alignment shop I promptly replaced ABS 1 & 2 fuses. Check engine light eventually went off as well as the VSC light (for a very short amount of time) and then the VSC came back on and continues to stay on. I got a code reader and shows code P0430, generic cat. I was able to clear the code and within 30 seconds VSC light came back on with same code. I've read this could be attributed to a faulty gas cap so I started with that and replaced it but still have the code. My next suspicion would be bank 2 drivers front o2 sensor. Anyone else have this same experience and what was your solution?

Same boat. Our carpet needs to go.

We were looking into CORETec Plus. The pitch was something like: "waterproof, petproof, kidproof." Or something along those lines.

I'm afraid I would need some serious hands on training before I actually spent the money on the real deal and did the install.

Perhaps I could score some leftovers from CL and try knocking out a bedroom in the basement. Hmmm.... that + bourbon + cursing = learning.

I am concerned about the various corners. Lining up the door-way, and then there is a closet.

I may have to just jump in and try. Gotta find something cheap though. I firmly believe I will make several mistakes until I get the feel-good vibe.

@Kappes03 If you haven't been to Cerberus down in the Springs; I highly recommend it. I would also like to recommend the Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese Sammich.

Everyone can thank me later. I washed the truck and put the awning back on in preparation for the warmer weather...figured we could use some snow :hattip:

@thefatkid On a recent trip back from Dallas, my truck threw B1660 code while driving down the interstate. All connections under the passenger seat are secure. How do I resolve this? Thanks!
