Agree 100%. I have yet to feel any surging or flaring at all and the shifts are as buttery as a Paula Dean poundcake!

You can choose “clear DTCs” with PCM flash. Does the same as disconnecting your battery.

When writing a new file, it does the same thing.

    184 miles today.

    11.64 gallons

30 mile per hour head wind for 25 miles of the trip.

    15.8 MPG

I’ve been averaging 15.5 since I put the awnings on. Will see if tomorrow is better with the wind. Prior to the awnings I was averaging 17.6mpg on 103 87.

I started with the 1.03 tune and although I loved it over the stock tune, there were a few shift points that didn't feel quite right. The tip in didn't bother me, I think because the truck actually moved without having to mash the pedal to the floor, it felt great. I've only got about 50 in town miles on 1.04, the reduced tip in feels more natural and still gets the truck moving just fine. The shift points feel more where they should be and smoothed out nicely. Overall, I'm very happy with 1.04, looking forward to more miles and a trip down the highway to check out 5th and 6th gears!

I love 1.04 only complaint and i mean only wish it was slightly more agressive but still had the overall smoothness of 1.04. Ect kinda fixes that

Friggin power baby!!! Go uphill with some acceleration. Noticeable especially in 91 tune and the noise of the exhaust sounds great

IIRC that was something not related to the Tacoma tune.

Just installed the tune for the first time using 1.04. Only had time to put a few miles on it, but wow, what a difference! I let it sit 10 minutes at idle after flashing, then took it for a quick drive up the freeway and it is much more the truck I was expecting.

    Great work Matt!

Edit - Using the 91 tune
