    So I am gathering that it is common for the Innovate to fail. I have 3 sensors that I am going through and just found out that it seems to kinda work if you just "recalobrate" it very often. But the reason I like it is that it goes below 10:1 and I am commonly at 8.2:1 on my AFR. Going to go pull the restriction ball out though tonight. Should I do the FPR mod as well? I don't need it richer by any means at all.

    list 'o power mods
    ILK or whatever 24 spark plugs
    URD DW fuel pump and filter mod
    URD equal length headers and exhuast
    URD 2.8 pulley
    Innovate AFR and Boost guage
    AFE intake (removed and back to stock)
    factory TRD S/C tune


    Only generate about 2.8-3.1 lbs of boost. If anyone has any idea why my truck feels like it doesn't even have a supercharger anymore that would be super. Cause I would like more power and more than 12mpg at 70mph. Also just installed 4.88's and thought that would really wake it up. It has helped with not downshifting, but it doesn't feel any faster at all. Trans temps are way down though. New trans with a Transgo shift improvement kit installed about 6 months ago.

    nope. just pulled the bypass restriction ball. It was lodged into the bypass actuator. And added clamps to both ends.

    Also I don't believe I have belt slipping issue as I am running a gates racing blue backed belt that basically doesn't stretch. Yes I did have to make it. I bought it as a 6 rib and ever so smoothly cut one rib off of it. Been running it for over 3 years now and hasn't frayed. But carry a gatorback under back seat in case.

    When I first installed the s/c I was getting in the high 4's for boost and it slowly went down. Then I did the full URD exhaust, fuel pump and pulley. When I first put the pulley on I hit like 4 once, never again. And as for the AFR, it has always been stupid low. Even into the 7's with the AFE intake. But is my innovate even trust worthy. I know I am stupid rich cause I do get a faint blue smoke when I really get on it and run through the gears. Like getting on the interstate. It may be a little blow by, but that is the only time I get it is when my AFR is stupid low. I put Doug Thorley long tube headers on before I even did the s/c but blew out the secondary cats very soon after and just put resonators in place of them with a custom y-pipe to keep the exhaust up. Then later did the full URD treatment. My truck runs strong, just not what I think it should looking at the guages. But are they trust worthy? The more I read about innovate, the less I am sure. As for the AFE intake, to me it seems that the less restrictive the air, the richer it ran. Like 10 fold of what it should be.

    How likely is altitude playing with my boost number also. My '98 s/c 5VZ-FE with a 9.5 pulley on it would only make about 8.

    Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
    Altitude definitely plays a part. But your numbers are low regardless. Lack of cats will let the blue out. If you were really that rich I would think you'd be seeing a check engine light as well? Does Innovate measure sensor life? The PLX can. Can you connect to the factory sensor via ECU? i.e. OBD2 bluetooth adapter to device running torque or similar. That will give you an idea of your other sensor.

    I'm not sure but I dont think the Gates blue is available any more since they now have the RPM line. Unfortunately they only have it in a 70.5" in a 5 rib.
    I just ordered a Dayco Gold Label 69.5" 8 rib belt that I am going to trim to see how it works. It's a heavy duty belt Part# 5080695. $30 at Rockauto.
    Gates has a 6 rib RPM belt but its 69", so 1.5" shorter than stock. Your were pretty spot on with the 1" shorter belt for smaller pulleys. The 2.5" pulley requires almost exactly 1" shorter belt to keep the tensioner in the same position as stock.

    I work at a dealership so I can hook to the techstream and look at any of the factory sensors. My long term fuel trim is saying I am very rich as well. Is there something I could look at? I am contemplating getting a Uni-chip and having it pro tuned but they say they can only adjust for open loop and I don't want to be in open loop all the time. Also, my tech's at work are not exactly s/c freaks. So when I have questions, I usually get more questions than answers. Kinda just been dealing with it for the last 4 plus years. Another customer lost all boost the other day and has me playing technician trying to see what is up which is what renewed life in me looking for answers.

    What is your altitude?
    Try a clean air filter
    You are correct that you should be more lean with the AFE installed
    Can you calibrate your afr gauge to your o2 sensor?
    Good call @findingthingsout for the comparison to stock o2's!
    Do you have a catch can? I wonder if the blue smoke is washing/burning oil off cylinder walls or possibly residual oil a little further up the intake tract since its dumping so much fuel.
    Do you ever go to lower altitudes? If not maybe try a smaller pulley.
    Definitely dont do fpr mod as @jojotoo stated.

    Basics 1st though, clean or replace the maf.

    Lost all boost sounds like bypass valve is staying open or severely clogged air filter.
    For bypass valve you can do a quick visual to see if the actuator is moving by popping the hood, looking at the actuator, and having a buddy sharply blip the throttle. You should see the actuator move then return quickly.
