Thread should have been a poll. Then send it to Toyota with a big middle finger.

They'd look at the few hundred people let out a sensible chuckle and hit the delete button. Then go back to browsing sweet youtube videos.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second to get the exact same truck. I still smile every time I walk up to it. Plus it would be my luck in the moment of hesitation Toyota eliminated the 6MT. maybe I should get another one just to have as a backup....

Yep, sure would. When you get out and look back at it and think “that was fun” just because. That’s when you know you like it. When you get excited to get in it the next day...you volunteer for the grocery run....it’s cause you love it.

    Tacoma owner just 3 weeks.

First I was really disappointed in the truck as the power delivery seemed to be not good. It will hesitate to down shift during uphill climbs. Traded in my 7 month old rav 4 for this, I was not happy at all. Was getting around 18 mpg no matter how much hypermiling I tired.

Odometer hit 1500 miles on Saturday , suddenly truck seems to be responsive and shifting has improved a great deal, no more hunting for gears , milegae improved to 25 mpg.

Now feel happy with my purchase. Today it sure did put a big smile on my face after drive. Will buy same one in a heart beat.

Yes , my 06 ac lb with 185k is the perfect truck for me. I also liked the one payment plan. My only dislike is the silver paint but I can turn it brown with the mud that it takes me through.

At least until the Ford ranger raptor comes out (with an actual interior, not the crap they released that is designed for desolate areas and has been around since 2011).

I bought a 2016 Inferno Trd Off-road DCLB 12/28/2015 it was totaled on 2/10/2018 by a woman who fell asleep and hit me. I bought a 2017 Inferno Trd Off-road DCLB on 3/8/2018. Only difference was mudflats and power sliding rear window. Completely happy both times. That being said I search hard for the 2017 because I didn’t want the TSS crap on the 2018’s. I only found 2 nation wide and they were both on a lot in Chesapeake, VA. Flew from Little Rock, AR and drove it home to Texarkana. So far no issues 4900 miles in.

No I wouldn’t buy mine again. Instead I want to buy the Delorean time machine and go back to 5 minutes before I signed the paperwork on it. I hate driving my gen 3 and I’m not alone. Too many very low mileage ‘16 and ‘17s out there for sale.

I just did this. Truck totaled in Feb, took delivery on a twin (the nicer one) on Friday. I say it's the nicer one because I get about 3.5 mpg more than I got with the first one??? Weird. That was for the first 450mi on this one. I just installed the OVTune today, so will need more data. I didn't have it on the first one. The truck pretty much acts as I expected it to from the factory now.

I have seen my best fuel economy on back roads mixed speed, Highway dropped my fuel economy from 20.9 to 16.7 what gives, I wanted this 3rd gen to replace my 2nd gen that was approximately the same fuel economy give or take 1 mpg

We can make that happen ... any suggestions on what you want the options to be?
