I just want to be done.
It sits really close to the exhaust it’s bigger than a stock tire. And I like the look .

    my build tread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/socal-no-shame-poser-build.513084/
Not dumb at all. So this served me 3 purposes.

#1) my exhaust is chopped at muffler for offroad clearance and to fit my full size spare. This puts exhaust outlet under rear passenger seat which added quite a bit noise inside. This completely fixed the issue. The noise coming into car is now way noticeably dampened making inside quieter.

#2) i added a metal molle panel in place of the factory bins. Now metal on metal rattles terribly with a subwoofer so having this material between the truck and the molle fixed that

#3) the material makes the sound from stereo not dissapear. Not sure best way to describe this but it reflects the sound from stereo back into cab causing a better sounding system.

It peels and sticks and cuts to size with a razor. Good to do floor, back wall, door panels

Yea, I'm an old biker and we used to push 125 db's out straight pipes. Setting of car alarms was too easy. I also remember way back in the day you could buy header cut-outs. They were these short Y pipes with a cable you ran into the car and to the dash, sorta like a choke. The cable would open a vane in the Y and your headers essentially became wide open. LOL it was a way to street race, then hide when the cops came. I recently saw an Audi A4 up near me that sounded like a big block v8! I couldn't catch him to ask.

I just read this entire thread. I did not listen to any of the vids yet.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ster-40-series-vs-flowmaster-super-44.254079/

Now I'm curious about the 10. Also there is talk of a combo setup with a Borla and a Flowmaster.

    Shit just got crazy.

Edit - the wife just went to bed so I'm going back and listening. I have a set of Samsung Overs I'll wear to get the best sound reproduction.

Yea, I'm with ya on the duals! Always been a fan. Two or none.

You know, MBRP has an all black dual setup. LOL

I would just save the money and paint mine. Easy to do and costs less than 25 bucks for all the materials.

Just installed the Pro grille, super easy and no issues.

Has anyone done research on power seats from a 4Runner in a Tacoma?? Let me know!!

    D3C02E7E-982D-4E9B-9A7E-8F8559FC6CA8.jpg

    EDIT!!
There were issues, if you buy the cheap grille you will have to get creative in order to install a factory garnishment, it will NOT fit as is! Also, I’d recommend getting the garnishment and grille at the same time so you can install it before installing it on your truck. Driving with the plastic piece will make your light turn on.

Put on a color matched C4 Fabrication Front bumper about a week ago. I wanted to try something different so color matched it was. Also went ahead and got the TRD 17 inch wheels with Grabber AT2 285/70R17 put on as well.

A little back story on the bumper, someone did a hit and run while I was at a restaurant with my son. Had 2 witnesses that got the license plate of who hit me and the police took it from there. Got paid out and here is the pay out

Also I am having problems realigning my driver side headlight. Its pointed downwards and not at the correct height. I've taken it off completely and checked the mounts and reinstalled it and still comes out the same. Still trying to figure out if there's something out of whack but I can't seem to find it. Drives me nuts that my headlights are not leveled with each other.

There’s a headlight adjustment screw on the inside of each of the headlights.

The actual head light is actually not flush where it use to be. I'd have to take a picture of it. You can tell a bit with the front end picture by how the gaps don't match between the driver side and passenger side.

Added these custom Winjet taillights. Went with smoke version. Easy install and quality is good.
No issues with radio sound like others reported. Connect the wires properly and you won't blow any fuses! I love the look.

I coated everywhere on my sliders, with multiple coats, so hopefully I won’t have to take them off too soon to respray! I went over all the welds and surface areas with sandpaper, then cleaned/degreased, 2-3 light coats of self etching primer, then I think 3 coats of bedliner.

My skids are aluminum so I didn’t do anything to those, but for steel sliders if you don’t want rust I’d imagine you’d need to coat the entire piece
