My wife has a 2012 Highlander and she loves it. Her parents liked it so much that they bought a 2015 one too.

When we were looking, I tried to get her to consider a Sienna also (they have an AWD option available). She didn't want to go for that.
Although she does really like her Highlander, she has become a little envious of her sister's Odyssey (no AWD option though).

@DevilDocAZ made some very valid points for going with a mini-van and if we were do to it again, I wouldn't be surprised if my wife decided to go that route.

Found out the hard way Coachella was this weekend.

Imagine LA Rush hour, but you're 100 miles from LA. As a result, we were delayed enough to enjoy crossing through LA during rush hour.

    "Enjoy"

Still haven't found wheels/tires for Rojo. I just need a set that will be safe to drive up to Phoenix. Probably only going to use the 2 or 3 weeks.

If I still had my extra set I would've let you borrowed 'em for the time being.

So in other news... mod day soon? :D

I have leaves and archive garage shackle hangars to install!

I may just get a cheap new set and throw them on the Taco once the 35s are on.
I need a mod day, but not until I've collected all my parts.

They have tire pros down there? I was able to get stock sized tires for my Tacoma used for $40 a corner. I was in a similar boat as you are.

I know it's not a Tacoma but all you mtb'ers should appreciate and that Gobi rack looks solid. The engineer I'm travelling with couldn't understand why I got so excited and forced him to take a couple pictures with my phone. My two favorite things: Yeti and Toyota. Spotted headed east on 70 from DIA.

Small like I am working on my truck and will have beer for anyone that wants to come watch and critic my work. I have one other spot on a slopped driveway for someone to work if they want.

When I visited the Yeti headquarters last summer I made sure I took a picture of the shop 4runner.
