Correct. I used the same pcmflash, the only new download was the tool you download to actually get the new 1.04 file

Sorry if I missed the next release date for First Time buyers, y’all happen to know when that is? Thanks.

Also any feedback with 1.04 when having the Air Conditioning on? Thanks.

1.04 is the latest map version (for AT). No dates have been mentioned for the next release.

Everything about 1.04 is excellent. My only input is wanting 1.03's tip in feel on the gas pedal. 1.04 tip in a tad soft. Anyone else feel the same? Running 91 1.04 on stock '18 TRD Pro

I prefer the 1.04 tip-in. Driving around in the city it was too hard to "hold it back" with the more digital On/Off feel of 1.03 for me.

I have been driving on the tune for a month now. Still love it! However I am noticing a few things I am wondering if anyone else has or if this is normal.

#1. Its getting harder to get it into 6th gear. Right after the tune it would slip into 6th at around 70/75 and it was great. Now it seems to be hanging onto 5th longer and longer and I am back to the 80mph + deal to get int into 6th.

#2. Throttle lag for a 1/2 a second right off the line or between 1st and 2nd. Almost like a hiccup or something. I installed a K&N cold air intake and I am wondering if that affected something. Anyone else experience this?

Thanks, yup AT and I see on the OV Tune website that I need to select the tune for the off-road with crawl control also. Thanks for the reply

Nope. 4.88s and 33s on 1.03 was insanely ridiculous. 1.04 is perfect!!!

3-4 and 5-6 still an issue in my opinion, holding too long. Had no issue with 5-6 in 1.03.

Nope. Stop and go traffic was annoying with 1.03. The nose bouncing up and down made others feel like I didn’t know how to drive a damn truck.

Tip in is good for me, especially hooking up to a trailer. 6th comes in at 51mph at light throttle for me. 30° this morning, no surge in forward or reverse after a 1 minute warm up.

It’s way better in my opinion. City driving in 1st/2nd was sketchy.

    Elaborate.

The truck has no useful power in the low range. Stock shifts too low. Ect shifts too high for normal driving. 1.03/1.04 nailed it.

I have the same issue in a lower gears 1-2 coming around corners, I have a K&N cold air intake, but that has nothing to do with it. Multiple people are experiencing the same exact thing.

Yeah that's exactly when it happens to me, going around a corner and it almost cuts out for a second or hesitates likes a beginner driving a manual for the first time and not sure what gear to shift into lol I just tried reading back about 15 pages worth but still didn't find what I was looking for, does this new 1.04 address the 1st to 2nd issue we are discussing? anyone have the page # with all the details on the new version so I dont have to read 40+ pages of bs to find it? lol

Driving along a 30mph road at the speed limit I don't need or want 2200rpm, the truck is noisy as hell and if it's cold in the morning I take it slow to that 30mph to not put unnecessary load on a cold engine. If the load is low it should move to 4th, if I choose to accelerate then it should move back to 3rd. I don't need power when I'm going through a residential road at the posted speed limit. Hell make it 29mph where it changes to 4th instead of 31mph... that would solve the issue right there.

Not sure what pages to look at, but it was there when my truck was stock and same with 1.03. Since the truck runs 95% better than stock, that problem seems to be highlighted now that everything else runs perfectly.
You can start using tech stream to log data and then send it to Mat so we can get a fix. I know there is a thread on here, but I don’t have it, maybe someone can help out?

#1- I set cruise control at 72 mph this morning after entering the freeway. My truck held 5th gear for 6 miles until a small downhill section off a bridge. Then shifted right back to 5th. It’s up hill about 100 ft. over the 6 miles. These tranny gears suck! If was going faster the truck would have bounced back and forth 5th to 6th.

#2- The dead spot I had under full throttle in first is gone. Now it is a slow throttle up to 2000 rpm. After that the truck makes some power and accelerates.

The tune is smooth and feels way better entering into stop and go traffic. Also a lot better in stop and go traffic.
