    Thanks for the suggestions guys!
So my understanding is correct, the stock tires are c rated, have a light sidewall and a heavier sidewall will soften my ride on the hw?

Have tried adding weight in the bed (couple hundred pounds) and it helps a bit, but still does not make it smooth and floaty as others have reported, and quite harsh.

Just for a sanity check, there aren't any spacers or anything in the suspension that should have been removed by the dealer?

Stock should be “p” rated, or passenger rated. The p should be present before the numerical size.

40 is way too high. Drop to the door recommended 30. Before swapping out suspension.

Had about 150lbs in camping gear in my bed this morning on my commute.
Definitely not as bouncy in the rear, but still quite harsh / feel every pebble.
    Definite improvement though!

So would aftermarket shocks improve that or leaf springs, or both?

I drive over a section of road near my house where they trenched across it to install a drain or water pipe. There is a strip across the road about 2 feet wide where they patched it but over time it had sunk about 2 inches. Everytime I drive across that dip in the asphalt, I swear my rear end hits it and bounces a good 6+ inches to one side.

So I think after breaking the suspension in a bit from new, I became fine with the ride quality.
    HOWEVER....
went down to the desert last weekend to do some camping, put about 100mi on washboards.
All this week it seems much bouncier than before....stiffer and I can feel every imperfection in the road- seriously feels like I'm driving in a BMW with runflats!!!!

Any ideas to take a peek around and diagnose if I damaged the ride quality in any way? My girlfriend was about to drink out of a water bottle and dang near chipped her tooth it was so bouncy on a main highway yesterday!
