I have to add 9% to compensate. So yeah I get 14 MPGs after I add the 9% :(

I got most of the options. Once I actually get the truck, I was going to PM you about the remote start module and make sure it's compatible with my truck. I lost the power sliding rear window which I'm sort of 'meh' about anyways. It was nice to have, but wasn't something that's a deal breaker to me. Everything else is exactly the same as my current truck with the addition of the back up camera which I really wanted. So overall, I got everything on my 'must have list' and enough of what I wanted to keep me happy.
Haha, yeah. It was a really good price, I couldn't pass it up. When I typed that, I had no intentions of jumping that quickly.
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out

Just go old school, fill it and don't worry so much about mpg. You have a truck not a damn car.

I'm a nerd and am curious how having the hilift attached to roof rack vs not effects, tires size, driving style etc.... Then you can make those fancy 3axis graphs for max data consumption.

Also I was considering a commuter car for a while so I started logging to get some actuals so I could extrapolate out costs to see if it was worth while or not. And I never really stopped doing it.

Backup Camera is key on a truck that size.

I don't care about mpg at all. If I did I wouldn't be commuting ~500 miles a week in a lifted FJ Cruiser on 33" MTs. But I like to know all the same. It's interesting to me.

I use 9% because that's what had to use to correct the speedometer difference on my Torque obdii app (verified with gps and radar). The actual tire difference from stock is about 8%.

Exactly what I do. I can remember roughly what the last few tanks where, and roughly what the difference was when I did certain mods. And that's about all I really need.

Agreed. I spent a week driving at around 60mph and really watching my driving habits to see what kind of upper limit I could expect for mileage. Got 16.7mpg in the winter. And that's my usual commute, which is more like city driving than highway.

There was no reason to put myself through that besides curiosity haha

I usually don't either. But the highway I travel to my girl's house eats up a lot of gas. Feels like it's uphill both ways lol. I usually do much better on any other highway.

You know what? I forgot to look if it has the beeps or not... I don't think it does actually. The camera will be awesome for hooking up the trailer but might have to add the sensors, they are handy. I put them on my Tacoma for like $100, so I guess I'll start the mod list early.

Ugh. I hate the beeps. I actively avoid them when I'm vehicle shopping, lol. If the perfect vehicle came up but it had them, I'd still buy it. But I'd deactivate them.

What kind of spreadsheet are you running/tracking? I've seen you post screenshots before but, never got the full picture. Asking for a friend :anonymous:

I do this with with my finances, so many sheets & equations but, once you get it to work it's awesome/easy

They usually have a button on the dash to turn them off if you don't like it. I don't like the camera unless I'm trying to hook to a trailer. I generally use my side mirrors backing up so the beeps are nice to tell me there could be something in my way that I can't see out the side mirrors. I hate backing up with just the camera.

I usually run a rotating scan; driver's mirror, rearview camera, passenger side mirror, then back again. I only focus on the camera for the last 6 inches or so.

I love the beeps!! I wish the front had beeps or I probably wouldn't have a goddamn dent in my front bumper. I only turn mine off when I'm backing to the trailer because then it's annoying.

Exactly! I like not having to use the camera but I also like not hitting things.
