Looks like the Cepeks are at $175 per tire instead of the $225 or so they usually are at.
    That's pretty good. 4=$700
Plus $100 rebate would be $600.

Why are people saying these are light? Are they not 58 pounds?

Definitely not light being 10 ply tires. I have 255/80/17 KM2's currently and they are heavy mofos.

The 255s offset my speedo about 5%. Not enough for me to worry about really. YMMV.

According to Dick Cepek the Extreme Country weighs ~50 lbs. I'm not sure where Tirerack got their estimated weight.

The dealership can't do it but there is a chip that plugs into the speedo harness in the dash. OV also claims to be able to adjust the speedo. Mine is 12% off actual speed

Hypertech speedometer recalibrator for 229$ corrects mpg and mph / odometer. That’s what I used. I’m getting 17-18 mpg. Have a camper top cap on the bed too tho

Edit: it’s a plug and play module you put whatever tire size you have into it using a windows cpu. So it corrects the dash readout.

Light or heavy is relative to the tire category.

Yes 50 lbs is very light for an e-load 33 mud tire. Most websites state them as being 58 which makes them heavier than a KM2 in that size and almost as heavy as the ST MAXX. The only other light tires in this size are the ST at 47 lbs and the TOYO AT2 at 50. If these really are 50 lbs I'm in!

Didn't put them on a scale, but my calibrated hand said they were 50.0 pounds exactly... :anonymous:

Good thing Hypertech says on their web site the recalibrator is not legal for sale or use in Kommiefornia where I live...... that way I'll never know how fast I'm going, or what my actual fuel MPG is if I get to upgrade to these tires at some point (255/85/16's). Lucky me :annoyed::ballchain:

Dang, so I can’t buy it if I live in Cali?

What’s the height of the Dick Cepek tires?

Dick cepek extreme country 255 85 16's and my stock steel wheel weighed 76.6 lbs after mounted and balanced , I'm guessing stock alloy wheels would be lighter then the steel

I’d be interested in a lighter aftermarket wheel that isn’t a TE37. Lol.
