Finally pulled the trigger on a new set of Dakar leaf springs, was this close to doing the same with a NWTi weld-together plate bumper but then I remembered the checks I just mailed out yesterday for my taxes and figured it better to wait awhile.

Yeah that's what I've heard...I got the non-greasable bushings for now but if it becomes a big enough issue I'll upgrade. My 3 leaf AALs were squeaky at times too but it came and went.

I like mine! And like them even better because deaver is local (SoCal) so didn’t have to pay shipping. Plus Jeff at deaver is a great guy to work with and their customer service is amazing. They can freshen up a leaf pack or add a leaf or change ride height of them etc in 1/2 a day!

well fuck I didn't know that...now I'm wishing I had looked into those lol.

Oh well, the Dakars were a good deal at < $400 and don't require any custom fitment or relocation of the spring hangars like the Trail Gear and Wheeler's packs did

Bought one of their expo packs that was supposed to hold 700-1000lbs at 3" over stock height. It was holding less than 600lbs at 2.5". They then blew me off 2 times when I was trying to get help about why they weren't holding the weight they told me. I ended up hacking up Dakar packs and swapped out most of the leaves with modified Dakar leaves out of frustration.

Most people are happy with Deaver, I am not one of them.

Chan said he has had issues with his deavers not holding up to weight also. I've been very happy with my Dakars and so far I haven't had any issues with squeaking (I'm sure I just jinxed myself here :D). Although I'm sure none of you will give a shit since I drive a 3rd gen... :crapstorm:
