Link to speaker's? I think this could be my next mod. Looking at focals and kickers so far. You do 6x9s?

6x9's in the front and 6.75" in the rear. The Metra adapters are kind of a pain in the ass but I got them to work.

    https://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosgate-R1675X2-6-75-Inch-Coaxial/dp/B00BF6HWAO

I went with these because Amazon didn't have the Kicker's anymore and I had gift cards I needed to use.

Thanks for all the guidance! I still didn't have it all figured out until I just... started tearing into it. Then it became clear, circuit by circuit, what I needed to do as I went.

I'm the opposite. Perfectly comfortable wiring my way into and out of just about anything in a vehicle, but house wiring is scary af. That still didn't stop me from doing a bunch of lighting and changing a 220v connection to a 110v when I swapped over to a gas stove (and doing a little natural gas plumbing (**yes, after I was done I had it certified by a gas plumber**) no way in hell I had that much faith in my ability).

In this case, it REALLY helped to have all the info on the forum and the two add-in harnesses plus additional guidance from @Rome604 . This way my factory stuff remains untouched and completely reversible.

Paid extra $200 a month to do it. Looking for retirement. Knocked off 15 payments.

Postponed the walk with the pups since it was a little hot. Figured I'd take a shot at installing some rain guards! Gonna try to keep the pups in the cab with the windows cracked overnight next time we go camping (depending on weather).

Funny you should say. I just got done looking at the Airstream Nest online. Man are those things freaking expensive. But talk about nice! O-M-G!

    https://www.airstream.com/travel-trailers/nest/

If I was going on the road, and had the coin................... of course this is a little on the smaller side and would likely require some serious Zen sanity techniques to maintain for extended periods but wow, what a nice trailer.

Yes I am just starting to look and price. Would like something under 4500 pounds. Would like new but there are thousands of used ones that have barely any use. I work for the government and we get awesome rental rates so I may do a few trial rentals to see how the truck handles different weights. I have a feeling that an OVTune might be a worthy tow companion. It is early so plenty of time for those decisions. What my wife and family spend on beach rentals for 2 years will pay for a decent trailer.

Yea, that Airstream is a little over the top and I have champagne taste myself. Like you said, tons of barely used ones out there for the right price. Something with room to breathe. I have seen some pics on here with tandeems behind a Taco. Some that blow my mind but they are doing it. I agree, I think the tune is where you want to go, or at the very least the ECT button, which is what that is for. Sounds like a great plan nonetheless fo sho!

We almost pulled the trigger on an Airstream Basecamp last year. Then we heard about the Nest and decided to wait and see. The Nest is $10K more than the Basecamp to start. . .very disappointing. Now we're looking at Casita, Scamp, and T@B.

Yea, I had to pick up my jaw when I saw the price of the Nest. You could outfit a larger toy hauler and throw a couple canoes on top for that price. A guy on here was thinking about selling his Casita. He's up here in Maryland @68dave is his name. Not sure if he decided to keep it or not. It's in great shape though.

Thanks for the lead. The Basecamp is still a consideration. I think Airstream Marketing has fallen flat on their faces with this pricing model. Either the Nest will impact Basecamp sales, or they won't sell any Nests. One or the other will probably be discounted at some point due to lack of sales.
