st maxx? How bad did it swell out the sidewall? I know they say 6.5-8.5" wheel is recommended but is that .25 on each side noticeable? I have 285-70-17 and would like to to the 255, I'd like the narrower tire if its not bad.

    And thank you btw!

A few thousand miles in and I like them a lot! Miss my Toyo m/t's in the deeper snow but these are much better overall. Would buy again.

What about the size? Any reason you went with a 285 75 over 285 70

Nice- can't decide what color F5 I'd want. I would wrap them in Falken Wildpeak 285/75r17 too.. How much trimming you do?

Cause MOAR tire. Was wanting to go 315s but I wasn't ready to regear.

It's tough, I was sold on the bronze but I had the chance to snag a complete set from the blemished thread so I did. @Taco Addiction's truck sealed the deal for me!

EDIT: Cut a lot of plastic, cmc, pinch weld. The standard procedure

Been trying to find a good write up on exactly what and how to cut plastic wise.

Wish I had one to share. It's the section of the fender by the cab mount, I went in with a utility knife at first then the Dremel. Checked clearance, cut a bit, checked clearance, cut some more, and so on. It'll vary based on your alignment numbers but you'll most likely rub no matter what.

I’m going back to the F5’s after a few months with dark bronze SR8’s.

Kinda torn between black or bronze though. Black is always super clean looking but everyone rocks black wheels. Bronze is different adds more contrast. Any thoughts?

If it were my quicksand I'd go black or even gunmetal personally, but if the bronze sr8's looked good then rock the bronze! I haven't seen that color combo yet.
