They do not look like they help stepping in and out of the vehicle as they seem to be level with the door sill. Am I wrong?

Nice review thanks. I've been looking for a pair of these on CL and TW with no luck. Monies tight but one day I'm gonna have these on my truck.

Just in case you didn't know......they also make a matching rear receiver hitch step.

    I couldn't resist.

    Loving it.

They are helpful as a step though I don't use them generally for stepping into the vehicle personally unless I am wearing a suit for work (rare) and want to be careful not to rip my pants getting in - lol. My primary use is to easily access boats, paddles, gear on the roof when I can be up there for several minutes tying things down. They are wide enough step to not have to stand on the tips of my toes like many "steps" but don't hang down low enough to cause much, if any, loss of ground clearance.

With my Prinsu on top of the cab, my wife has perfected stepping onto the steps, grabbing a rail of the prinsu to pull herself up and then swing into the cab. She hated getting in and out of my truck (and I'm not even lifted - she's not tall) but she's cool w/ it now ;)

Agree they don't make a perfect step into the vehicle since level but it's still something to step on if you really want to and not step on the sill. You can make it work. All the other benefits make it worth it

Huh, I should get that to match my back bumper. When did they start putting (cutting) the "Tyger" into it.

    Very cool bumper.

I didn't realize they did those, too.

For my needs, these Tyger products are perfect. I'm not doing hardcore crawling and such.....just mud/clay/dirt while hunting & fishing or dirt road cruising.

Found a mark on my passenger rail the other day and it had gray in it. Looks like my rail prevented damage from an errant door ding. I'll hit the spot with Rustoleum and be good to go.

Ummm, they do not make a rear bumper. I bought a set of these step rails at first and used them a real sliders. That didn't work so well for them. They protected the truck, but I put them to their limits. I upgraded to real sliders and took one of the step rails, cut off all the mounting brackets. Took it to a friend, where he cut two slices in it and the mounted (welded) it to the existing tow hitch. ;)

Got some anti skid stickers at Harbor Freight to cover up the Tyger logo. Ended up matching the G Tek Fab door sills fairly well.

What are the Torque Specs on these, if any? The instruction sheet I got in the box just states to tighten the bolts down.

So I found a set on Amazon for $215, they were discounted cause the packaging was messed up. So it ships via UPS and all was great till it was scanned in to the UPS center in Waldorf MD. Instead of being put on the truck for delivery to my house they "disappeared". UPS claims they were lost how does UPS lose a 6ft 80 lbs box of step sliders? I called UPS and told them that most likely they were stolen from their facility. I have 12 plus years shipping stuff all over the planet for the DoD, nothing just gets lost. Anyway I.was told to contact Amazon and UPS basically said "oh well". Amazon wouldn't send a replacement cause it was a third party transaction, they refunded my c.c. sorry for the rant but the attitude of UPS pisses me off, they don't seem to care that potentially they have an employee with sticky fingers.

Sucks.. I had an issue with USPS (I know yours was UPS) and a Special Agent with the OIG showed up at my door a week after to investigate due to other issues on the route.

Sorry you're having issues, I'd order again and see if Rick (from Tyger Auto) can ship them maybe FedEx or another way. Still loving my steps, still have people asking in person what brand they are.

If I could score a pair for $215 rather than the full price I'd order a set. Ive been looking for awhile now so I guess I'll just keep my eye out on CL or TW. I want to get a pair and they do look good I'm just watching my money
