They do but I either leave it outside or have to be home & help load it. Also have to repack it which is a PITA. They say they won't give a refund if it's not packed @ least as well as it was when it was delivered. Also, you MUST sign for it when delivered so I have to be home for this as well. My FedEx guy comes between 10:30 & noon which means I've had to be home, during the week, between those times 4 times now, just for the front bumper. If I send this one back, that'll add 2 more days for a total of 6 days, during the week, to be home during the middle of the day. It's a PITA.

They compress the stock coils, creating preload, which is where you see lift.

Ok I see now. I didn’t understand how it could create lift and still have the travel needed to work like a regular shock absorber or strut whatever you want to call it.

It makes a stiffer ride, compressing the coils constantly. I never used stock coils on aftermarket shocks. Went right to OME shocks and 885s, then dumped the used OME shocks and swapped in new 5100s with the 885s.
The 885s are rough on a 4 cylinder without a bumper and winch. And I will strongly advise getting aftermarket uppers because I was hitting coils at droop, until last weekend when I put the SPC UCAs on.

Still a bit rough, but I also need a real alignment done still. Long term plan is a bumper/winch, soon ish

Anybody running a winch with synthetic line? I noticed when I was mounting the hawse fairlead that the bumper may interfere with the line going thru the fairlead. Like the bottom of the bumper cutout is to close to the bottom lip opening of the hawse fairlead, if that makes sense.

I just installed my rear bumper. I traded a buddy of mine for my stock bumper and $100. It's in excellent condition and he wanted to take his truck closer to stock - when he offered it up, I jumped! Very happy with this one.

I know this is off topic but when I used deal w/ motorcycle road race fiberglass fairings - the tolerances and fitment was so far off between brands that I've seen bolt holes close to an 1" - 1.5" off center.... it was actually a surprise if fitment was on par...

The bumper itself is about 1/4" below the bottom of the fairlead opening. A pic will help, and I'll get one in a few. I'm concerned if the spool is full that the Andre the line is coming off the spool will put it in contact with the bumper "lip". It'll ruin my synthetic line in 1 pull.

In your pic you can't see what I'm saying. It's behind the fairlead. I'll snap a pic in a few when this Crown and coke is gone. I wouldn't have ever noticed if I would've installed the fairlead AFTER I installed the bumper. I installed the fairlead with the bumper on the ground so I got a perfect view of the situation. If you installed the fairlead with the bumper on your truck, you may not have noticed it. I'm anal when it comes to synthetic line since it's such a puss to getting destroyed by almost nothing but straight, clean pulls.

With a full spool/short pull, I don't think it'll be fine. Do you see what I'm saying about a full spool angle rubbing on that sharp edge? With a less than full spool it shouldn't be a problem BUT..... More research to come!

I see what you mean but I don’t think it would be a issue.

If it really worries you then Just take a grinder to it.
