    Haha yea I said it wasn't local. Once you get some PTO under your belt AOP and Windrock and Gulches are parks definitely worth going to.

    Your only real option is Uwharrie southwest of you. Outside of that you’re looking at a decent drive to anywhere else. Sucks that the eastern side of the state is so baron when it comes to OHV trails

    I use to live in EI..mostly forest roads with pits in the Croatan.Where I turned my diff oil in the summer when we couldn’t drive on the beach.i have seen Jeep clubs that run out there and have a cousin that runs it with his club, but no taco clubs I recall..

    Yea we visited a couple of the lakes out there and the most disturbing thing was a massive garbage bag with a deer carcus in it covered in maggots.. it was gnarly enough we cut bait and headed back to Wilmington haha

    Yeah..there are places that get trashed.and if you go hunting you can find campsites and litter.a friend of mine posted names on the paper we found once. Just sad!

    There are a bunch of offshoot trails hunters and such use. Since it's in the flatlands it's not really any crawling but more bog riding and some pools you can ride through. We use to take my buddies old sidekick out there.

    There is also an atv only trail on Catfish Lake Rd..
