Is all the tune flashing software 64 bit or can it run on a 32 bit Windows machine?

Again, my hybrid which is in electric mode at low speeds is setting off car alarms?

Or my stock truck which I drive 1-2 times a week is setting off alarms?
Guess I need to get an exhaust to live up to your expectations.

I really don't see how this is possible. Was the filter soaked in oil and dripping? Even then the MAF would be a mess from the oil and the thing would run like crap long before the O2's failed. I don't get it.

It was a 2003 4-banger. The oil covered the sensor over time in burnt carbon. I asked the tech that worked on Toyota and Lexus vehicles and he said it is common for Toyotas with aftermarket oiled intakes.

However, he could be blowin smoke lol

Basically sine the MAF was covered in oil, it was throwing off the readings causing the engine to dump more fuel, thus fouling out the plugs and the O2 sensors. Could fixed it all by just cleaning the MAF, throwing in new plugs, and seafoaming the shit out of the intake thus burning off carbons on the O2s

That sounds about right to me as far as what it was. The red color was more likely to be fuel additives, which can cause that over time. A fouled MAF causes a chain reaction through both intake and exhaust cycles.

    Bro, stop.

Your IATs are probably screaming high. How is your “cold” air intake, drawing air from the engine bay? Get out of here. K&N is the BIGGEST chain auto parts store scam to exist.

Let me guess, your throttle body spacer gave you +12 wheel HP?

Isn't there a thread in here where a guy had to get a new engine because of his high performance air filter? Let in too much dirt...

If you want your truck to chug around at 1000 RPMs, go flash it back to stock. That will net you the best MPG and lowest RPM possible. If you haven't realized, the OVTune is here so we can actually use the little bit of power the Tacoma makes, and not be stuck in 5th gear at 30 mph bogging around everywhere. You are NOT speaking for everyone with a stock truck/wheels/weight/etc. I personally can't stand the fact that the damn thing is still getting up into 5th gear at 35 mph. It's completely worthless at that speed/RPM. My Tacoma should NEVER see 5th gear under 45mph, maybe even 50mph.

I have been campaigning for a way to manually shift the auto trans since the beginning, but you don't see me posting about it every day. Or maybe that's what has to be done in order to make sure it gets attention? Just chill out man.

Also, if we have to pay extra for custom shift points or whatever, I'm game.

    1. No one said anything about 5th gear at 30, 4th gear is perfectly fine to MAINTAIN 30mph... again... load based. If you're still accelerating then it shouldn't touch 4th.
    2. You need to either go buy a V8 truck or a sports car if you want to scream around at 2500rpm all day long 'because I want the power ready'. Vehicles have gears, let it change gears to give you power, otherwise go buy a CVT or a manual.
    3. This is a new release, which myself and a few other stock truck owners believe has improved on certain aspects and gone backwards in others, hence the posts.

You'll probably like his power map he's been working on.

Are you saying you don’t like 1.04? Seems pretty darn flawless. Commuting is wonderful now both highway and city.

Everything is perfect, except shift points for 3-4 and 5-6 on my stock truck. To put it simply, I don't like sitting at 2000rpm+ at 30mph because it won't change to 4th and I don't like it using 5th when it could easily be in 6th when i'm cruising along the flat Florida interstate.

Weird. Mine doesn’t do that and my tires aren’t that big 265/75. It’s probably Florida...
