I'm still running my Icon AAL's with my Dakars along with Toytec shackles on the lowest setting. With my rack, RTT and extras, I needed all I could get.

An old truck driver told me a trick for keeping awake, put an ice cube on each of your lower eyelids for 20-30 seconds. Hard to do, but you won't get drowsy for another couple of hours. Don't know the science, but it has worked well for me over the years. Also a bit of that aroma therapy peppermint oil under your nose will help too.

Sad moment for me today.... Colorado Mesa (Grand Junction) does offer a program for the degree I want so I guess I get to go farther North to Logan.

1st gen related because Logan is a a lot farther from Moab and my spring time stomping ground.... learn to leave without.

Tomorrow, gotta change the bypass valve cause the old one finally gave out when I punched the throttle. I'm tired now haha, gotta put in the boost gauge too so I know if I'm making any pressure.

Yup. Not a truck driver but I've had jobs that required long hours on the road. A cup of ice cubes worked for me better than anything. Crushing them between the teeth or grabbing one and rubbing it on the back of my neck. Never tried the eye-lids trick. Will remember that for the next long haul though.

I love the FRS. If I had to buy another car that's what I would get. Would last a lot damn longer than a 325i, that's for sure.

    I wonder who copied who...

Subaru had the opposed cylinder motor before the original Toyota 86

Subaru design the engine. Toyota did the chassis and suspension.

Then subie added their own options and refined it more.

Toyota won the deal as for ever 1 BRZ sold 10 FRS's had to.

The BRZ is a "nicer" car. Better options and such. FRS was cheaper and was setup more aggressive handling wise. Supposedly.
