I was a huge fan of Hoyo de Monterrey and H. Upmann. I had to quit cigars when I quit cigarettes. I miss the cigars.

I quit cigarettes cold turkey over 2 years ago now. I'm just treating myself to a cigar now and then. You couldn't pay me to smoke cigarettes again. Taste and smell awful. Plus my allergies are bad enough without a ton of tar in my lungs.

They are my one crux. I have quit several times or slowed to the point where a pack lasts me a week. But a stressor hits or something and that is my go to for relief. Good for you though I know when I didn't smoke I felt so much better.

Yeah, I get chronic sinus infections and the cigarettes were not helping. Plus my lungs felt like balloons filled with oil. Constantly hacking up a lung every morning was just too much. My wife helped me get it together and drop them once and for all.

I use to get chronic sinus infections but that was due to other issues that I had surgery for. Thankfully I am not to the point of hacking a lung up yet but want to kick them before I get to that point and to set a better example for my kiddo.

Yeah, I read somewhere that if you quit before 25 your lungs have time to heal fully. So I quit when I was 24.

Diff Breather Relocated! (Apologies for the terrible camera focus, my phone is a Galaxy Grand Prime aka. Cheapo)
Bought the kit from Yotashop.com and picked up Teflon tape and two 1/2" hose clamps from Lowes. Took like 10 minutes after I dug all of my tools out and found my bag of zip-ties.

Old Diff breather. Size 14MM wrench.

New Camry Union in. Size 10MM Wrench.
    20180419_121636.jpg

Noticed this brace and a nice pocket to tuck it away. (Previous owners must've lived on a gravel road.)
    20180419_122409.jpg

Routed it through this hole, making sure that it wasn't too sharp. I may find a grommet to line this at some point if wear begins.
    20180419_122414.jpg

All finished. Ran up over the frame rails past the spare and zip tied to the frame. Tons of slack for when I have my lift installed.

If you need a bigger spare a have a spare wheel with a 265/70r17 on it.

All five are wrapped in Hankook Dynapros atm. Not 100% sure on the size, but probably stock size. What tire is it?

It's a goodyear something. Ironically, one of the guys at work put a huge lift on his chevy. It was is spare. It hung around here at work, so when I lifted mine I mounted the tire on my spare wheel since it was closer in actual height.
Now, I have a full size spare mounted in the bed so it is yet again just hanging around.

Went to KS Rocks Offroad Park today and took the Offroad 101 Course.
We were one of two exact copies of a Super white DCLB. the other was tricked out a little more than us. They rode in a different group so I didnt get any shots. The leader of our group had an old T100 that was full exo with no bed. MY LIMO DID NOT FIT WELL IN THESE TRAILS DESIGNED FOR JEEPS. We made the Tacoma look good though, and drove home without issue. A few new scratches and a new scar.

And I put the first battle scar on when I drove into a branch to get out of thr way of a group of jeeps going the opposite way of our group...

The old Toyota Truck that was leading us. This is coming down after climbing up a pretty steep grade.

Now that you got your feet wet it's time to lift it and put some bigger meats on her. TL can get along just fine in the smaller trails just have to take some different turning approaches and obstacle approaches. You'll figure it out not many people can help you with figuring it out since they are use to shorter WB and better turning radius.

Yeah the instructor gave me a little guff for bringing the only full size tacoma lol He got me through though. Took me a bit longer than most but I got through with no undercarriage issues. Tested out the skid plate though and drug the rear mudflaps. I took the fronts off beforehand.

Eh mudflaps are overrated! Bad instructor then they should be encouraging especially if a guy can easily do the same shit as what looks like modified Jeeps with a LWB stock taco! He needs to wheel with more DCLB tacos and really see what they can do!
