Positive, we did a rear diff flush and it was grey.. now it feels like the emergency brake is on when accelerating, but obviously it’s not on.

I’ve also been wanting to go on the trail crossing the Mojave River, and am planning on using self sealing tape with possibly a bit of dielectric grease around those connectors under the truck. This brand costs $7 at HD.A7307580-BA11-4E9B-9539-44399B1AB4CE.jpg

Im surprised no one has chimed in on this? Stock ecu/tcu sucks. Look into orange virus tuning(@ovtuned) its most likely your transmission just learning bad habbits. I used to have this issue. One day the truck would drive great and the next it felt like a completely sluggish different truck. Its this crappy transmission learning toyota has in this truck. Just look into it i promise you wont regret it.

    Have you checked the brakes?
    They might be dragging.
Just a shot in the dark.

What happens if you put it in neutral while it’s rolling?

    Disable atrac?

    MPG unchanged?

Definitely want to check the drums. I did a little off roading trip with some water crossing and mud. After I was getting some drag from the rear and faint grinding. Pulled the drums and they were full of mud. Washed them out and it drove like it used to.

Still wondering why Toyota refuses to go to disks in the back. That "to reduce dirt getting into the brakes" is a load of crap.

This is what it feels like, a drag. Along with the other symptoms I noted. I will check tonight.
