Yeah It’s somewhere around $1,000,000,000 to design a new vehicle... so I’d say the person saying yes or no to the designs makes a little more than 100k.

Also the subtly of the debossed tailgate should be left alone. Unless you like power rangers.

Also never stated that Toyota was the first With the debossed tailgate. Fords been doing stamped tailgates since the 60s. I Just said that they’re ahead of the curve. Ford had something smart but didn’t follow through.

It’s Toyota, I bet they throw ideas into a hat, take the best ones, and whoever had the idea/ideas that was adopted gets a free lunch.

 

Eh... not really mad. It’s just distasteful in my opinion. Extremely distasteful. That’s like back dimples on a hot girl... they’re usually ruined by black letters across them just like a tramp stamp. And that’s all I can think about. It’s a tramp stamp for your truck. It’s like the easiest and cheesiest modification. Everyone knows it’s a Tacoma. You don’t need to emphasize it. But to each their own I guess.

That is definitely up there, but don’t forget people who throw fake TRD Pro emblems and TRD emblems everywhere but the windows.

The emblems are fine. Most trucks look better with them removed anyways. But that cement gray with the red insert stickers posted a page or so back was just fugly

Ha ha... I hear you. I dont have them but dont find them to be distasteful (so as long as it is a clean install and quality product).

If you want to see distasteful, I suggest you go and see the “what did you do today thread”, tons of material there.

Not even close in my opinion. Adding tacoma inserts is not even in the same category as adding FAKE badges / being a posser. Adding TRD everywhere is somewhere in the middle.... mildly annoying.
