    Yeah.
I might be up for some exploring, still waiting for a work trip to settle on a week, though. Since it's supposed to be rainy this weekend, I may do some exploring more local, check out McIlroy state game preserve.

Weekend of the 28th is looking like a possibility. Afraid U Joints are in the very near future for the LC, so will have to see how that plays out. Getting that definitive driveline clunk when shifting into D and R, and they've lasted 225K so maybe time. Dave is moving this weekend not to mention weather isnt going to cooperate, so next weekend is a good option. As I understand, RazLC's are going up Thurs night the 3rd, and not sure I can swing a day off on Friday 4th. We can discuss and figure out a good campfire meeting spot for afternoon/evening of 28th, somewhere 'tween yous and mes and us and them.

I've got one coming in Friday for mine. If it's everything I dream it is, should be pretty sweet. I'll update on that though after the weekend maybe.

FYI - Razorback LC's just cancelled their plans for 3-6. One lost a tranny on his 1st Gen and another had scheduling issues so all weekends are open. Which of the two weekends (4/28 or 5/5) works best for most, or neither-either?

    Yeah.
OEM on the Tacoma is Spicer/Dana, looks like the same for the LC. I didn't realize that until I tried the Moog. Could be my own fault, but the Spicers come with multiple thicknesses of snap rings if you need them. You can get them through RockAuto for probably a third of the dealer cost, but it's yo money.

Ah, well there ya go. I just call it OEM and order it as such, did not know Spicer/Dana was one in the same for the U buggers. I will definitely do some price shopping. Landers offers a 25% parts discount for members of the land cruiser club, so will be checking several places. Thanks for the heads up on RockAuto. ToyotaPartsDeal.com can pretty competitive too, on some parts.

    Yeah.
I usually order from Toyota of Dallas for dealer stuff, and it looks like ToyotaPartsDeal has the same prices. If Landers can match, maybe easier to get local. $54 through TofD or TPD for both front and rear (a little more than 25% off of retail), vs. $29 at RockAuto for rear, $20 for front. RockAuto posts a 5% discount coupon code on here, too. Just don't let them do DHL shipping. I am a cheap bastard.

Replacement antenna should be here today, so I will do a second pass on my radio install. My 3M Extreme mounting tape idea didn't hold, so I'll need to use screws on the CB bracket, and the antenna mount needs a bit of a bend to avoid rubbing paint off on the tailgate. I'll have to take it off and put it in a vice and get out the BigAzz channel locks.

A little bit of frustration with RightChannelRadios, but they were very responsive and made things right, so good folks to work with. No ham stuff, though. Just a note, if you order a FireRing cable with FME, they apparently no longer include the 1.25" fine-threaded bolt needed to actually install it. How silly is that? I got a couple stainless steel ones at Lowe's.

My business trip is still bouncing back and forth between the week of the 30th or May 7. Most likely will shift to the 7th, so might be able to find you guys in the woods somewhere.

Let me do some thinking on that. I'm rushing to get out of town to Nashville. Just thinking about cutting across the lower end of the Ozark NF through Oark and end up at Byrds to make an appearance....
